Watch this full screen. About halfway she either pulls a wad of hair out of the Bison and drops it OR it's a hand full of food. I can't tell. She was abusing this animal, pulling it's hair. No way I would have kept my mouth shut. Jerking the hair out of it's head!!!
That's exactly right... She's not feeding it, She's jerking the hair out of it's head. There's no end to the insanity. The more I looked, I could plainly see. She is lucky to be alive. Them damn things will throw you down the road. LOL
It's sitting right next to old faithful, people coming and going all day. It's probably just a little more used to people than some. That is a busy area. It is just too lazy to kill her today.
You will always get idiots like this person who think that they have a "special connection" with wild animals (they don't). A few years ago a man climbed down into the lions' exhibit at a zoo to sit with his special friends. He died. Another man went to live with grizzly bears in the Alaskan wilds as he believed he had a special bond with the bears. His bones were found in a pile a year or so after his girlfriend reported no contact from him to the authorities.

They have signs everywhere telling you not to do this, others have not been as lucky as she was. These are wild animals, not pets!

Bison was on standby.
Last year a tourist was gored and permanently injured about 300 feet from where she was. Very very lucky.
