When you were fishing the edge of grass were you using ff to see if fish were there. Or just covering water. Do you ever use perspective mode?? Great job keep them coming. Fished K last week tryed everything whacky rig caught me some small ones 👍
Not really looking at the grass edges on this day. Just covering water. I was fishing some deeper brush in the spinnerbait n using FFS to line up my cast. Haven’t use Perspective but it has its place. Love a Whacky Rig.
Thanks for the video. I was wondering.. Since you're able to see your bait, how far do fish come to get your chatterbait? Is it something where you have to dump the lure right on their head or do they come 10-20 ft to come get it??
@@TheTinHorseMonty Cool, thank you for the info. I was just curious about a bladed jig because I figured with the thumping I didn't know if it would have any drawing power or not. Thank you
@@TheTinHorseMonty That's cool, it's neat. You mentioned that because I just got finished trading a megabass rod for a really nice Shimano rod and a lot of gear including five megabass jerkbaits that seem to be brand new. I never really was a serious jerkbait fisherman but I'm getting into it now. Till I get better electronics. I'm basically trying to learn as much as I can from you guys that are learning so much everyday. And actually so far it's actually helped me a lot cuz I used to be one of those guys that thought fish set up in one spot and they hung out there for you know months at a time then they would go do the same. Little go deep in the winter blah blah blah. Now I know that they constantly move almost from what I've learned from watching you guys that utilize the electronics you have
Glad you found my channel n welcome to the fishing world. I choose a jighead based on the depth of water I want to fish, wind, current and the speed I want to reel in the swimbait. The deeper you are fishing the heavier the weight most of the time. A 1/4 oz is a good all around weight. There’s a few more variables such as size of the bait and how much lift it’s producing.
@@TheTinHorseMonty Thank you for your answer. I don't have much experience. What are the disadvantages of not increasing the jighead weight in deep water or current water, will the rod sensitivity decrease?
@@yasinozkaran4417 Welcome. In deep water with a light weight the lure will want to swim up as you reel it in You'll have to reel it very very slow which is ok sometimes. Current will push a lighter bait around and pull it to the surface.
It gets a decent amount of pressure. Multiple tournaments every week. I don’t typically fish around other people if I can avoid it. A lot of times I go during the week on my day off if possible.
Love the spinnerbait bite great video thanks man 👍🏻🎣
Man It's a blast when they hit it. Thanks Gary
Good day. I am horrible with a chatter bait, Wish I was better. But I love a spinner bait . Great video
I used to be the same way until I started throwing it more. Fish it slow and twitch every once in a while. You'll get confidence in it.
Good job. You caught a lot of bass on a variety of baits. Thank you for the lesson.
Thanks Steve.
Thanks for sharing Gabe . Fall fishing can get really good .
Agree. It's about to get real good. Hopefully. Thanks for always supporting the channel buddy!!!
With the variety they will bite on, the Fall has great potential for success, and those Whiskered Bass do love crashing the party, Hahaha.
Man I've been catching a bunch of the Mr Whiskers variety lately. Kind of like your snakeheads but non evasive.
That’s a really good looking lake.
It's really good at times.
nice job, these transitions can be frustrating but if you keep grinding it will happen.
Thanks John. 100%
Good stuff here man! Gotta keep an open mind and a line in the water.
Amen. Just re watched your day 2 Pickwick Regional video. My Regional is there in a few weeks. You had a great day.
Great video I would like to see you do a video on how to fish as a co-angler when someone is using live scope
It’s on my short list Mike.

Did you use a lipless crank at all ? Nice vid, thanks for posting.
I didn’t but it’s an excellent fall bait.

Typically you have to put in within a few feet of them. Sometimes they will come up 4-5 feet out of grass to get it.

@@DFWdarin Welcome. Unless fish are very aggressive they want it fairly close to them. A jerkbait will pull fish from 15-20 feet at times.

Hi sir, I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?
