Laura I have that planter! I had so much fun with her. I planted something called Artic Lights grass in her and made it into a bun! Sometimes I let it down too. It was like playing Barbies again. The grass eventually died (I let it dry out) but that was ok because then she turned blonde. Your arrangement is beautiful.

I think I heard that it's okay to have an arrangement like this outdoors in the summer (Z-8) but not in direct sun. E.g. table on covered front porch? And take them in as weather turns cooler in Fall. Right? ❤

We love your work and videos. You and your Mom just inspire us as a family. As a family, we all have completed our flower gardens and look forward to our vegetable gardens this year. My husband is ready to order some products from your Mom's store. He is teaching his great grandchildren about flowers, plants, vegetables, and mother nature. Next time, have a video with your DAD and Brother, it would be so fun. My children and grandchildren hang out with Dad all the time, he loves it. One of their special settings is a tea party with the grandchildren and g. grandchildren once a month. Blessings. Make beautiful memories.

I love it when you end a video with a little "recap" peek at the finished product with beautiful music. ("Chefs kiss" moment) This head planter is beyond stunning!♡ After your unboxing of the Mountain Crest Gardens succulents, we bought some for workshops we offer at the flower shop where I work. Sadly, a few came frozen as they arrived during last weeks big snowstorm we had in Minnesota. Most of the plants, however, arrived fine. We look forward to offering and creating Mini Teacup Fairy Garden workshops very soon! Thank you for always being so inspiring♡

Absolutely gorgeous! Laura you need a long tweezer! It’s a must have tool. It tucks roots and tender plants into the tightest spaces and is perfect to make small holes where you need them. I also use mine for grooming plant leaves out of tight spaces. Oh how I would love a succulent hairdo. Can you imagine a succulent hat for a garden tea party? 😊 Thank you for sharing yet another beautiful idea. ❤

Laura, your succulent head plant design totally knocked me off my rocker! I have never seen anything like it and would never have imagined it! I've been watching for maybe six months and enjoying all of your past videos, as well. My mom, who passed a few years ago, was named Viola. I love that you mostly refer to pansies as Violas. The last few years, my container gardening has been with beautiful SILK violas! YOU have encouraged me to have all real plants. I'm spending hours on the PW website deciding what plants I want to order (of course, all the violas). The problem I'm encountering is I want far more than I can afford and while I would happily dig up a nice patch for a garden, that's physically more than I alone can do. Yet I think I'll figure out a way! Thank you. I adore you and Aaron and your channels!

HI I wished I could have whisper in your ear when you used a paper towel in your hear planter. For over 50 year I've been using peices of landscape fabrin in all my pots. NO bugs go in and the potting soil doesn't fall out. Whin I first bough landscape fabric it was nonwoven but more like felt. When you buy the good stuff in last more than 20 years. There are some advantages to being 73 years and still gardening daily! Take care!!

Wow! You really nailed it, Laura. I have this lady with succulents in it as well, but yours looks so much better. And mine doesn't have a drainage hole. Now I will know how to put one in next time around. As always, thanks for the inspiration.

Great idea!! Last year I got one of these and planted a small tut and surrounded it with lobelia; I giggled every time I looked at it.

This was like a quiet morning meditation. Ken, I listened to that last pretty guitar note. Great information. Beautifully edited.

Use landscape fabric to cover pot holes instead of paper towel. Cut off a piece to cover hole and soil stays in place but allows water to drain. I’ve used landscape fabric in pots for a very long time with great results.

This was a favorite. I don’t have succulents but enjoy yours. Thank you.
Loved the music at the end while showing her. ❤
