I’m now aged 28 and starting this process. It definitely comes with maturity. I do agree about work and the dreams too it does seem hard. My sun is in Pisces. It feels exactly what you have explained. My poor Mum (Scorpio couldn’t understand). I’ve always based things as the tortoise vs the hare. I will say I had an easygoing upbringing but was determined to do things my own way and made some stupid decisions. Your spot on Alyssa. I have always had to struggle to get what I want and I have had my fair share of being treated badly from others abuse of power. However the struggle and knowing how it feels being mistreated gives me better insight and empathy towards others who are less fortunate. I always tell people who enter a new venture to leave your ego at the door and relinquish control and open yourself up and let the chips fall where they may. Its true too that everyone who cares for me wants to see me thrive, so I receive immense pressure from those around me. Alas, Saturn is great teacher and also rewards great gains as well.
I have Saturn in Aries in 10th house. Last year I took shrooms, was enlightened and completely changed. The thing is I got in one of my highs and took my ego part wrong I forgot to humble myself. And let me tell ya my life came crashing down. But it’s been major healing for me. Also when I was little my family had more money and lavish things then we started struggling as I grew up and it’s affected me and my financial life a lot. Saturn in Capricorn here. Also Capricorn Sun, Ascendant, Mercury and Jupiter. I know Saturn well and at a very early age I got rid of ego stuff. Probably more to do with having venus in pisces. Am coming up for 59 years old and still learning. Not bothered about power or material things. Love is the only thing that matters. Recently been learning about people who let you down.

whoa! Alyssa, you cut me open like a surgeon! Lol. It was scary to hear this but very appreciated. My dad died when I was 3, so it was my mom who did the job of saturn/capricorn (her sun sign is a cap lol) and she was a workaholic/had lots of masculine energy.
I just received my natal chart and everything, so I'm watching all your videos that pertain to my chart. Wow. I feel like I am in the midst of this right now, for SO LONG. I feel like my life is SO hard, and I struggle so much emotionally from the all of my disappointments. I've almost given up on everything, but I know I have something left in me. It's just so hard.

Saturn to me is like being born backwards, I've always had a strange feeling my life would start when others aged or started to deal with struggles in adulthood and it has even with my physical appearance (ugly duck syndrome to a T) but more importantly my vitality. Spot on! Saturn in Cap conjunct Moon 0'00 and conjunct Uranus 1'00 with a loose Neptune conjunct.and in the 8th house.I had to learn success will be hard. I think the other aspects in my chart help with the other problems of Saturn in Cap so accepting the hard work for success was the harder lesson. People have always wanted to help cause of the way I come off so they always wanted to bet on me. Changed gears and headed toward a military career as the step by step promotions and structure of it forces success on a timeline. People are surprised when they ask what I want to do that I can give a 20-25 year timeline :P Also had to learn that chasing success/power is better if you have a humanitarian goal rather than for image or for ego and that took a long time too.
I will add that I have had my chart interpreted as insanely karmic and filled with manifestation energy, as if I was born backwards or with lessons already learned. I feel that way quite often, very aware of most things that happen around me but the Sagittarius in me believes there's always more to learn, there are always ways to improve, and there is always room to grow. Every time I try to do this I'm met with opposition by peers and usually bond with elders, authority figures, and teachers instead of being taught. Im a Sagittarius sun, Aquarius ascendant, and I have a massive Capricorn stellium in Venus moon Uranus Saturn and Neptune in the 12th house, I have experienced all of the above in terms of external experiences towards me but have never been comfortable with power / fame that I didn't work my way up for. I have a hard time being understood in general and was wondering if anyone else could relate or comment on a strange placement, before I studied astrology I wasn't sure why so many people assumed me to be a Pisces but maybe that's why. I have been in many situations where I was afforded the power and fame my generation aspires to but was very discouraged by it and craved working hard from the bottom up or not doing it at all. I can definitely relate to your Saturn in Pisces video in terms of the parenting and schooling I had, which might explain my conflicting situation but as I enter my Saturn return any insight would be GREAT.

in most ancient mythologies Saturn is always referred to as a "male" energy planet along with Jupiter and the Sun. The "female" energy planets are the Moon, Venus and sometimes Mars with Mercury being unisex. I don't know how Uranus, Neptune and Pluto work though.
I have Saturn in Capricorn in 2nd house. Saturn sextile Pluto and Saturn trine midheaven in Virgo. I'am not going to lie, I seek to dominate; especially in money matters, I've noticed people tend to give me the power without much effort, I'm guessing they feel my trine.

People offer me alot of things in way of jobs, promotions, opportunity, even money on occasion, yet they often want something inappropriate or just something I'm not willing to give in exchange. Outside that of envy and jealousy this is what I get; I've actually made better and faster progress then half of my pers in lesser time through step by step focus and determination. I'm not even truly a success story but the little I've done has been hell on earth to get through. I could have made crazy strides in my progress if it wasn't for OTHER PEOPLE blocking me. When I function alone or collaborate with like minded souls who actually have things going for them I can get alot of work done. My saturn has been others as my obstacle hence slowing my career.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Although there isn't much time for fun, being that my Saturn is in my 5th House. The more unnecessary ppl and things I let go of, the better things seem to turn out. Thus, Saturn in Cap represents letting go in general, in my opinion.

+John Kim in ny humble opinion i think the difference will be that, unlike Saturn in Cap thats in the 10th house, a 7th house Saturn in Cap, will face these challanges of power in one on one relationships. and with Saturn in Cap and in the 10th house, it will happen socialy!. basicly the houses are where the energy is expressed and the plannets are the Energy u express. the signs therefor will be the Structure in which the energy is channeled.

I can't understand why my Saturn/Mercury in Capricorn makes me want to be a lawyer (for other people) but makes me beyond bored whenever I look at law. I like ran off from my job to write a novel, and now I'm in the military because I thought I could shoot my enemies or something. But my parents got fired and my measly paycheck isn't enough for 3 ppl, and I'm sure God got them fired to punish me for running from law. But it's so fucking boring. I don't understand.
