I was watching the interview Piers did with Bassem Youssef it looks like he was right, Shapiro did talk about killing "enough SOBs" and Piers did bring it up, so denying it at the other interview is to say the least dodgy.

They never really tried to make peace in a proper way. On every conflict they responded with more force and killed more civilians. Hamas is terrorist organization for sure but Israel is not much better. The victims in this story are the civilians from Gaza, they are living in a "prisos" where boms are falling from the sky.

When I watched the uncensored videos from Hamas, I started bawling. ( I'm an HSP so I'm already sensitive to violence) and the news never makes me cry. Especially the clip of the two siblings and their parents. The boy is distraught because his sisyer was killed in front of him, and his sister doesn't understand. The father has blood on his hands because he was trying to save his dying daughter. This particular clio tore my heart to pieces because my little brother is around that boy's age. The thought of him ever being in that much danger and pain is making me teary even as I type it. Hamas needs to be stopped. At all costs

I have watched most of Pierce’s videos. My problem is not with him having an opinion. My problem is that he has an opinion yet wants to disguise it.
He said many times to pro-Palestinian guests that he is NOT pro-Israel, and he gives pro-Palestinian guests many platforms. However, there are disproportionate differences between the way that he interviews Ben Shapiro and the pro-Palestinian guests. He does not cut Shapiro off like he does with others.
All he wants to do while appearing to give the pro-Palestinian guests a ‘platform’, is to question them on 2 issues.
1.Making them acknowledge Hamas is terrorist. Single out what happened on Oct 7 as a terrorist attack with no history or context. (I agree that it is a terrorist attack, but context is still important)
2. Question them strongly on the proportionate response that Israel should undertake in response to Hamas attack.
This is a very difficult question, not many people has the answer to it. But the way he questions it shows that Pierce Morgan is Pro-Israel, and he just wants to bring guest with opposing view on the show to corner them and convince them otherwise.
If so, just admit it. Such inconsistent attitudes to your guests!

Piers Morgan keeps changing his tune. He doesn't interrupt Ben Shapiro but if it was the other side he wouldn't allow the interviewee to talk.
Basically this man is saying that the right of children to live can sometimes be overlooked and they can in fact be slaughtered with perfect peace of conscience in the case that some acquaintance or neighbour of their parents happens to be a criminal.

In due time, those responsible for atrocities such as those of 07 October should be arrested and brought to the International Criminal Court just as any other war criminal.

To answer your question, I suppose that they should fire back as long as that is the only way to not be killed on the spot, or to avoid the killing on the spot of civilians under their protection, and no they should certainly not be allowed to kill civilians themselves in retaliation and certainly not as a form of prevention from hypothetical attacks in the future. I would also say that any serious attack would above all indicate a serious failure and a need to urgently revise the necessary diplomatic efforts that must continuously accompany such a mission. I am not saying that any of this would be easy or even close to be easy, but I would argue that the main obstacles here are not the risks but the political will.
I've listen to Piers interviewed Hijab and the Palestinian ambassador to the UK and he interrupted them every few seconds. But he didn't interrupt Ben at all. Says a lot about this so called impartial journalist.

Instead, it has been circulated that a rabbi who has a senior position in the Israeli military has officially given all soldiers permission to rape any non-Jewish woman. Please feel free to research all of this yourself to help you decide what you think about this situation and to help you understand who is speaking BS, who is lying and who is actually on the right side of history. Or you can choose to ignore all of this. I really don't care. But now you have no excuse to say you didn't know.
