I agree with you 💯. I can not find any excitement in watching golf now. I just watch the highlights to see who won, and still, that’s just it. I used to spend Sundays watching the whole nine yards whenever he was playing, winning or not. The excitement and the vibe were so different because he always had an extra gear, when needed.
Today’s generations will never know what it was like to watch this man dominate. There will never be another like Tiger. He made the sport popular and brought this electricity that no one else could. We will never see anything like this again.

Wait so Tiger didn't make an eagle at the masters from 1999 to 2006? I can't remember one off the top of my head, but I thought he must have had one in his 05' win.
I think the distance difference would be smaller than you think, like maybe 10-15 yards on average. There is a paradox with larger club heads and that is it increases drag, reducing clubhead speed. Also exercise science and nutrition have evolved significantly and pretty much every golfer these days is doing highly specified training for speed.
@@Brett733 we don't have to guess. in 1997 when tiger was at his fastest he averaged 294.8 off the tee. bryson currently averages over 332. in 2017 tiger averaged over 303 yards. all this stuff is easy to look up. i think a prime tiger would drive it roughly the same distance as rory, maybe a little shorter even and less accurate. i think the average iron distances have increased by almost 20 yds (ex. 215 yd 4 irons are now 240ish)
