I have this car since 5 years ago. I can tell you how I fell about this car. This car what I have found out
1. Good handling
2. Good braking system
3. Wide angle rear cam view
4. Good fuel economy especially in the motorway. City driving with semi heavy food around 550km. Motorway can be more than 700km
5. Air cond freezing cold when it's new.
6. Parts not reliable, the driver seat control seat panel torn out from the support. Can repair, only replacement. Not even last for 3 months from new.
7. Passenger seat no high adjustment.
8. Due to long wheelbase, rear seat and front seat distance is quite long.
9. No rear air cond vent
10. Rear boot lid too small.
11. Engine felt too hot compare to other engine.
12. Weak led front headlight, original factory calibration too short distance. Most of time need to flash high beam to cover anything more than 20ft away.
13. Most important, this car is underpower cruising in motorway. I have no complaint in small city driving. When cruising over 110km/h, the car is not like accelerating anymore. Pick up from stationery has no problem but once get into over 110km/h, either you need to use paddle to reduce the gear then only you can accelerate.
14. X-mode or Hill climbing mode make no different for me because I tried full of 4 adults in a car, climbing a web slope has no problem at all. Maybe my tyre was new at that time.
15. Cheap servicing cost at outside, however one 4L engine oil is not going to fill full the engine level but I leave it until for next service is not a problem at all. No engine check light.
16. In my area, no need to book for service due to the Subaru sales is not so much here, therefore I could walk in at anytime. The only thing is free labour service but no free parts and washing. Well it did sometimes wash my car for me but not always. It took normally 2 hrs to get the car ready.
17. Brand new tyre is good. It could last me around 56000km b4 I change to another one. No missed alignment since new. Good suspension design.
18. Workmanship is bad. The driver door side need a little bit strength to close it. All the doors alignment front and rear not aligned properly.
19. 3 yrs plus the air cond condenser inside the cabin need to be replaced. It leaks. Entire dashboard need to remove for replacement. According to air cond mechanics, most Subaru air cond condenser won't last long. Prepare 1k+ for the job.
20. Not only air cond condenser, the air cond speed control also did not last long, after replacing the air cond condenser, the air is not cool enough. Have sent to few mechanics to check, and they said might be the air cond compressor was damaged due to condenser leak all the compressor oil out. At the end found out is the air cond speed control faulty. Replace the unit and it solved the problem. However, the air cond is not as cold as new.
21. Dashboard is a dust magnet. No matter how u clean it, u can see the dust in a min.
22. GPS. The direction indication is so good but not user friendly which means not user friendly to bookmark, enter the address and others function. Can't easily understand how it works. Need time to learn. The very good thing is you can update the map for yourself for free.
The time I bought the car was less than 120k.

I have a Subaru XV GT, and the points are spot on. The things I don't like are: 1) door workmanship is poor, have to close few times to close it properly, door is light and not solid. 2) Driving uphill total power loss, try Ipoh-Terowong Menora, then you know what I mean, even in S mode also no power. 3) The leather seats smell like kilang plastic toxic, for this price I expect them to use decent materials but now I can't enjoy my car due to the smell

这期视频的标题让我这个在物色二手XV的我是十分吸引的，但点进来看发现不是很点到题咧 🤣
我的xv 刚到100k km 大保养 也是大出血哈哈哈。换engine 油要4.8 litres 换牙箱油一定要用subaru original cvt gear oil 是6个litres $110 per litre 还要换 gearbox filter $130 换 V belt $250 换brakes n power steering 油 rear diff 油 3 litres $90 per litre subaru original spark plugs $90 per nos 人工费550 。比 Accord 贵40%
48k km 后面一个rear wheel bearing 响 我换了个中国 版 bearing set $175 吧了。87k km 时 break pad 到 70 多% 没了original 要$600 多我去换了 britex Australia $750到93k km 时air cont 不冷有时有有时没有原来是 compressor clutch 也换了和service $500 我换了over size tyre 225/60/17 在60k km 时到现在，engine 方面很好也没吃engine 油。over all xv 驾到还算有自信一到下雨天孩子们就会向我借车用哈哈哈
请问XV车主有換过 CVT Transmission oil 但不是 original Subaru 而是别的品牌? 不介意请分享经验? 谢了.
@@alkp88 Hahaha 一路来都是用original cvt gear oil 也是每次给那些 subaru specialist 说到怕怕怕不可以用 others 油。很贵噢！

@@alkp88 I'm using Castrol Transmax 6L ard RM350, labour RM80. Ori too expensive. I check w XV group. It can be used. I'm trying now n so far drove 28.5k touch wood ok. if can afford better use ori. hope it helps
Subaru最麻烦活是换火星塞。
换后轮差速器油还好而已，Avanza, Innova也是得换后轮差速器油。
整辆车都很好配置，唯一的弱点就是CVT变速箱，不能太激烈驾驶，如能换去双离合变速箱，就能媲美Porsche了。
subaru的cvt算是不错的，它是使用钢链带驱动的，比起其他日系车cvt是用皮带式钢链驱动来得耐用。。。

Subaru 是一个很好驾的车 不输德系品牌 又有操控 又有舒适度 真的超推荐
驾驶感不输。其他的还是没得跟bba比吧。
真的，内饰设计花点心思可以当半个豪华车了
但是開久了要換的耗材零件，以及發動機內部的油水消耗品，需要花費的維修費零件費用還有消耗品費用，已經不輸給 BENZ 和 BMW 了，所以 Subaru 有東洋賓士的稱號
如果你很注重冷气的效果的话，Subaru的冷气可以说一般般。土库普通维修保养费RM350～450，大的保养要RM1.4K左右

换axle oil 也是比普通车花多一点钱的问题，有驾过avanza，aruz这些后轮驱动也少不了换axle oil这动作。。。

你好修车仔，想请问原厂轮胎轮毂17寸，我想要降级换成16寸需要注意什么吗？会影响到车脚问题？
牙箱在右边是考虑到驾驶盘零件在左边，以及多数时候只有司机重量，以便达到左右重量对称。（我猜的）。牙箱中间应该反而不对称。
不是，一般4wd车牙箱在右边是因为要让前后diffrencial尽量靠中，如果在中间，那么从车中间的transfer case接去前轮differential的drive shaft就会非常偏左/右了。Subaru也注册了symetrical drive train专利，其它车也不能采用这设计。
那左驾的国家不是要把牙箱搬去右边？应该是猜错了

要買二手Subaru車，修車要夠勇敢，不夠勇敢請不要買二手車，買新車去。
老实说，Subaru的森林人是我开过的底盘最松垮的车。每过一次减速带，整车就好像要散架一样，丰田本田我都开过，虽说比起德系车要松垮一点，也没松垮到那个程度。
Forester比较大辆，而且早期的forester价钱和XV一样！
很可惜，以前subscribe是因为这channel是少有的专业介绍保养，维修费用，最近有些跑调了。最近比较偏介绍车。失去原本的特点

我驾了十年viva，没什么问题。油耗和myvi差不多虽然是3缸引擎，十年车的引擎抖动明显。
车小，城市驾驶很好找车位。一般换黑油，维修价钱和myvi差不多。内装普通，
冷气ok，中央radio没有2 din，没办法upgrade去android唱机。
我个人很喜欢这辆车，因为peroduo已经没有出这么小的车了。

@@joshjosh38 你是说avh吗？你上车后，需要按一下avh按钮来开启，过后你需要踏一秒的brake，他就会hold着了，（hold着时会有一个青色的圈让你知道已经启动）,你要走时，直接踩油门就可以走了，前提是你要绑好安全带哟~

作为曾经2台Subaru的车主 我可以负责任的讲 Subaru不适合没有任何机械知识的小白 小毛病不少爱漏机油 配件超贵对标bba 内饰超渣各种异响 但是对于司机而言车真的好开 乘客体验一般 直男专车 所有cvt的不是真subaru不予考虑
