I came across a documentary movie on TV last night - "Long Time Coming: a 1955 baseball story" in which this song was used in the out credits and had to track it down. Such a pleasure to find this. As the Ukraine invasion plays out it was such a delight to stumble across this remarkable documentary and this song epitomizes the doco. We are so traumatized continually by stories of what people do to each other it is hard to find a positive "spin" on life, but this song (and by association the doco) give me great hope. The humanity, compassion, empathy and love inherent in this song fill me with hope. I'm a little white guy in Australia but I share the "dream". Thank you all so much!!!
