Congrats Anthony!! I am surprised nothing is being said about the dance school where he was coached before being discovered, especially knowing that the teacher who is self-taught, taught the kids ballet for free.
Good point!
I think from the show the ballet teacher used to beat them for making mistakes
@@SuperSiyanLula if that was true, how come Anthony is the only student that cut ties, the other students who also have gotten scholarships abroad are still students till date. In Nigeria, a ballet teacher who is running the school free of charge and just for fun would beat a student and his parents would allow their child continue. Lol! Not in the Nigeria I know
@@Wishywell2700 hi i've lived in Nigeria. This was a lagos mainland dance school, an overzealous teacher not operating in a rich area may very well beat their students... this is what Anthony alluded to in the documentary. It's possible
@@SuperSiyanLula I still insist that it is sketchy, why did his parents leave him there if that was the case? A Nigerian parent! They were not paying, it was all done for fun and he only left after the fame. Guess we will never know what ttuly transpired. The school still runs and have other students who got international scholarship but still visit. I wish him the best though and hope the new school will truly nuture his talent.
Wow Madu is all grown up. I hope he keeps going for his dreams. What a phenomenal story.
Wow, madu has grown up and looks radiant, you are indeed a special boy, God blessed the team of Discovery of Madu in the UK.

I am happy for this young man, and a great THANK YOU to this school and all the mentors he has had along the way. He seems FOCUSED on this path he has chosen.
Such a beautiful story I can't wait to see the documentary
Way to go! You are amazing. Blessed with talent.
I remembered this story, which started during COVID-19. What a charismatic, brilliant young man. He definitely has a great future ahead of him.
Wow ! My country 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
I lived in London from 1986-1992, and I was literally “adopted” by a bunch of older Nigerian women, who all wanted to take me to Nigeria. They all treated me as if I was their daughter, I was even given a Nigerian name, Abeni. LOVED my Nigerian Moms!
@@caramelhoni6881amd Abeni means “we begged to have her” 😅
@@Naijamomindiaspora OMG,,,OMG!! For real????? You have no clue how these women fought over me! The first Nigerian that adopted me, her name is Busola Momoh, after that every Nigerian mom tried to adopt me, she wasn’t having it, and pretty soon they all learned to back off, as it was eventually understood, she was my honorary Mom. I LOVE them all,,LOVE THEM! Thank you 😊 for educating me, on the meaning of my Nigerian name, thank you 😊
I TRULY FEEL HONORED, I TRULY DO. “We begged to have her” OMG! I’m bawling 😭 HONORED INDEED!!!
I’m so glad to see him wearing glasses. Cuz in the movie I kept wondering WHEN’S he gonna get some glasses?!? 😅 he needs glasses!
God bless Madu!❤ What a spectacular dancer!
Love Africa ❤❤❤❤

Who was here from the very beginning.. raise your hand 🙋♂️..
Like if you just watched the documentary and end up here
So annoying in conversation when young people use, the word like, like, like, throughout sentences.
and then his accent disappeared. lol
Within 2weeks! Children assimilate faster.
@@motunrayoosho2598 lol. it doesnt happen that fast. i know grown people who go on vacation and come back with anew accent, and im like stop it, lol-
😂😂😂 I thought same, but remember it was his formative years I guess. Lol. 🇳🇬🇳🇬
Like he uses language like the kids. That's so amazing. His grammar/ tenses/ etc.
I heard that too.❤ Awesome.
