Its so educating and entertaining at the same time. Love it. You‘re such a G
I'm just here for Ned's soothing voice.
Thank you for the Alt and drag tip, I normally Duplicate, freeze and flatten. What a time saver!!!!!Keep up the excellent work!!!!!!!!
wow, this is a POWERFUL tool - I may have skipped it in my Ableton learning - Take Lanes are powerful and can seriously improve tracks I'm already working on. Wowza.
Great tutorial. 🙏💪
Here is a tip: you can just use the pen tool (B) to select sections of the takes, it’s much easier!
OH MY GOD! This is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
that is such a great workflow to chop breaks, thank you so much for the inspiration, going to use take Lanes much more in the future now!!
Almost every Ned video say to myself "Of course! Just use [basic Live feature] you dingus!". In this case it's take lanes. Just use take lanes! Dummy! 🤦♀ Thanks Ned! 🙏
Love this. Very intuitive way to mash up breaks. Love the content yoy put out and think I may invest in your max devices. 👍👌
my favorit channel ever, do i must say it for each video or it's ok ? : )
you are a gem
Absolutely nuts
Redux is also really great to use on breaks to create raw bitcrushing and filter effects to get some nasty bits
... some of your flangered elements, would be cool to transpose into 12note piano-roll to play with! :) sounds great!
ta tu loco, pa. love it!
hope u make more rnbo stuff mr
Watched this a while ago came back for a reload
Why didn't you freeze tracks for the last take opposed to re-recoding?
Great video by the way
It’s just how I roll, yo.
Arrangement view? Ooooh...controversial🤣
did you vape during this vid? your voice sounds weird XD amazing tutorial as always
HYEEES
venetian :)
Wait. Why is your NEDFX V1.01 and mine is v1? :D
What is that Drum Buss audio effect? Is that part of Live?
It's a distortion and dynamics tool included with Live 10 and 11. You can crush the drums in nice ways (or nasty ways), shape transients, add power to the low end, that kind of thing.
In the end of the video when you resample audio, why not choose all the clips and hit CMD+J?
Should save it as an audio with effect applied
It doesn't. You can think of Consolidate as recording the outputs of the audio pieces' Clip Views. It will bake any time-stretching, grain/pitch envelope automation and that kind of thing but plugin effects will not be included because they come later in the pathway of audio.
@@joechapman8208 yeah I check it today. For some reason thought that it works but it’s not >_
how do you deal with mixing the amen on one track like that when completing a track? Every time I've make a track with amen breaks trying to Eq out the bass and snare and hi hats all on one track is a PAIN... I've even had to resort to pulling out the kicks and putting them on a separate track
Lmao so now you want help? I thought his stuff was horrible?
Drum rack. Put loop in simpler, right click on it, slice to drum rack. There ya go, each hit has its own spot in the rack and can be eqd seperately
