UK long range missiles need UK technically trained expert crews. If UK go to Ukraine and fire missiles into Russia, then Russia have every right to consider it a direct attack by UK forces on Russia regardless of the fact the missiles are fired from Ukraine.

You stupid. That's how the enemy wants you to think. Take the war to Russia if that's how it wants to do it. The goal is to knock Russia out of Ukraine and restore peace. Maybe after we put Russia out we have international monitors as a condition to not flatten the Russian might, and destroy their ability to make war. That is why Iran is a poor county -- to keep them from aggressive actions against it's neighbors. If Iran wants to go using nuclear weapons then that will be their death nail. Same with Russia. First we drove home the message with sanctions, then Weapons for Ukraine, then bigger badder weapons and troops. That is the West's play book. We are going to do just enough to enforce the world order and seek world peace . That's especially true here because it's in the West's interest. Wake up Putin and see the writing on the wall. Some of the West regrets not being more aggressive to support Ukraine and that momentum is building.
The West went slow and now we Know the enemy and how weak it is and Russia cannot fight in Ukraine and protect its territory to prevent the West from taking out it's industry and its ability to make war.
The West is coming if Putin doesn't get out. The West has not employed the best of what it's got. And we are tired appeasement.

Why is Russia complaining about Ukraine attacking it's cities when they the Russians are doing that to Ukraine. I believe if Russia does this to Ukraine then Ukraine needs to do the same to Russia. After all it is a war or isn't it.
UK stands with Ukraine as long as it takes. Last 6 months have shown to us that Russia has not got the capabilities to defeat Ukraine and with a better planning this war could be turned around in favour of Ukraine.

We were told our people were attacked in Vietnam, Saddam was training tens of thousands of terrorists on Iraqi soil and the Afghan cans were where 9/11 arose from. Korea was a continuation of the aftermath from the Second World War and thank god we intervened because all of Korea would look like the North had we not.

That said, all the flag bumper stickers, yellow ribbons and sloganeering do seem to indicate at least a tacit approval. Lastly, 'we' rarely have much input in these matters, and a great many interventions were to benefit US corporations. Most of our overseas interventions involved money.
