- This is the devil's hour, but the Lord will soon have His Day of Victory. But how are we to survive in Egypt during this hour of darkness and peril? The moral pillars that uphold our society are not just wobbling. They have collapsed. We are not just slouching towards Sodom and Gomorrah. We are in these cities like Lot and his family. It is said that when the prophet Elias ascended upwards in a fiery chariot, he let his woolen mantle...his scapular if you will...fall into the hands of the prophet Eliseus. The woolen garment was the habit of Elias, his master. This action of Elias pre-figures the action of Mary who would later let her mantle of salvation...her Brown Scapular...fall into the hands of St. Simon Stock when her spiritual children were in dire need. When the priest enrolled me in the Brown Scapular in years past, he prayed: Receive this blessed Scapular and ask the Most Holy Virgin that, by Her merits, it may be worn with no stain of sin and may protect you from all harm and bring you into everlasting life. If Mary protects us, whom shall we fear? If our Lady crushed the head of Satan himself, then she can certainly protect us from the attacks of demons. Therefore, our Brown Scapulars are a sign and guarantee of salvation, for Mary will never fail us. We hear her words to St. Simon Stock...her solemn, unbreakable promise: Whosoever shall die invested in this habit, shall not undergo the torments of hell. And because of our Lady’s promise in connection with the Sabbatine Privilege, those who wear the Brown Scapular will find a speedy release from Purgatory. Praise and glory be to God as usual for this holy priest. I wish I should live nearby parish/catholic community where he lives so that I can attend the daily mass with him in that parish. As a sinful man, my soul is very hungry for God's words. I really love the Sensus Fidelium priests for their powerful preaching. May God give us more holy priests like these ones. Amen. Just a short story of Our Lady's kindness.
Our Lady is so Kind to this sinner....the only Catholic gift store around normally stocks small brown scapulars. I prayed to our Lady a few time asking her to help me find a Larger scapular that would not fall apart so quickly.
A week later I went to the gift store and asked the owner if they carried any large scapulars, she said I don't think so, but pointed me to the section with the various scapulars.
After some searching I noticed a crumpled torn plastic bag on the bottom shelf with a folded cloth inside, when I unfolded the plastic it was a large brown scapular, I was so excited that I showed those in the store, the lady who owns the store had no idea it was there. Then something told me to look and see if there was another, and on the bottom shelf was another plastic bag, not as torn but Yes a large scapular.
The lady said no one asks for those scapulars anymore I had no idea the scapulars where there. I was so thankful to our Lady for hearing my prayers and I was ready to pay for them both, to my surprise the price tag on the plastic was half the cost of the smaller scapular.

Just heard this and feel SO ENCOURAGED!I had prayed for extra crosses to help some of my family find salvation, and the Lord has blessed me abundantly with them. I feel so humble to be allowed to help in the salvation of others. Praise be Jesus!

I highly recommend the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary to everyone. It is such a beautiful devotion that everyone should be apart of.

I've been wearing the brown scapular for several months and the priest said I could say a Rosary per day in place of the Little Office which, because of my duties, I didn't have time. I hope one day my daughter begins to wear it as well.

I'm no Church Father or church leader, but.... A consecrated host is a consecrated host. Where Mass is being celebrated is irrelevant. The Eucharist distributed at a Latin mass is no more holy or valid than the Eucharist distributed at any NO mass.
You could be out in the middle of a forest every Sunday afternoon. If there's a priest celebrating mass in the middle of the forest, it is valid and it is just as much proper worship as any mass in a church.
Agreed, even the worst priest who celebrates and validly consecrates the host is a good Eucharist. Right now even as crazy as things are we must be obedient to God and attend holy Mass. We cannot jump out of the life boat because we don't like the people paddling. Study the Catechism, continue listening to this incredible channel. You will be fine and the Lord himself and our blessed mother will steer you away from apostasy. Consecrate your soul to the immaculate and sorrowful heart of our Lady and you will be fine. Read saint Louis Marie Demontforts devotion to Mary. It will walk you through consecration. God Bless

Sola Scriptura is a man made tradition that rejects Sacred Tradition. The bible follows Sacred Tradition (without Sacred Tradition, no Sacred Scripture). Christ gave His mother to the Church at the very foot of the Cross. Kyrie eleison. PS. Invariably Protestants fail to understand that they do not understand Christianity, having rejected the Church established by Christ.
