There are plenty of summertime days that average in the mid to upper nineties, with a few triple-digit days thrown in here and there. (I'm usually counting down the days until fall as soon as summer starts!) We have very few homes built with basements in this area. No matter what type of construction. It'll be fun and interesting to watch your house build. Also, congratulations to your parents, fifty years is a long time. That's great to see! We're at 36. May I talk with you personally? Our neighbors recently left the Amish community. The man said he had a calling to preach the gospel. I'm not sure if that's the reason for leaving but they are having a difficult time.
Good morning this is Marvin. In the Amish circles the only people that get to preach are the ones who have been ordained, this is just the way things are in those circles. If a non-ordained person starts, let’s say, street preaching this is something that is looked upon as self ordained and is frowned upon in the amish circles, just speaking from my experience . The ordination process for being a preacher by the Amish is by drawing lots. The Amish believe this is God’s way of choosing the person who is to be ordained as a minister/preacher.
I just feel bad for the family I'm speaking about. If my memory serves me correctly, your wife's parents have a similar story. I am from NY and know your wife's brother in law(my kids went to school with him. May I give your wife my email ?
