Isn't that the message where the clock battery is dead or the time needs to be set? When you're booting a GameCube, you can hold A on controller 1 to get to the menu by the way.

@@fenriswolfretro6729 no worries at all! Your channel is fascinating to me as I brought back a bunch of Famicoms and stuff to fix up after my last trip to Japan and now I'm eating up content about doing just that as my project list is getting shorter.
