Captain America Isn't The Hero You Think He Is

- Captain America is the guiding light of right and wrong. He’s a man who took the sunk cost fallacy of American idealism and decided, nope, America will have to live up to its ideals if I have to do it myself. He’s not your go to if you want to do something that would be…morally complex. It’s that very nature of someone who chronically does the right thing even if it’s in the wake of something not working out. When he breaks that pattern and makes a bad decision or at the very least one that’s going to be contentious it stands out. With the exception of issues that have all the sensitivity you’d expect in a 1940s comic book not aging well, there’s only a handful of times where one could legitimately object to a course of action or at the very least the intent. Despite his strength, agility, and bouncy shield Cap doesn’t always look at every problem as one he can punch. While he’s a super soldier, he’s still a person underneath prone to getting frustrated or mad or manipulated by sentient fundamental powers of the universe into becoming your complete opposite or you get too close to the explosion of a drug den. Or he’s an entirely different Captain America where something in that alternate reality has given Cap a little more leeway as far as the wholesomeness of his acts. What’s your favorite time Captain America was the bad guy? Does it make you like him more? Let us know in the comments and while you’re there be sure to like and subscribe for the latest content.

Do you think we'll see some evil Steve Rogers variant in the MCU?
Maybe in Kang Dynasty
Bruh I don’t get caption amarica he can’t do nothing with out that sheild someone could just steal it!
And only 4 likes on u!?
@@Brightstarvids He’s very capable without his shield his still a super human example being when he fought to protect Vision in I believe london or atleast he was definitely in the UK he had no shield and fought 2 of the members of the black order who if Gamora is any representative as to how Thanos trains his warriors are very capable combatants and if I remember correctly he was not only with out his shield but he also was completely unarmed and held his own very well
I will not tolerate any Captain American slander. 😤
Caps a hero.
It's not Captain America's fault that he acts like this. It's the people who write and retcon Captain America's character.
He can't even act lol, he's a comic character
@@nobody10011 yeah the above argument doesn’t make sense. He wouldn’t exist without his writers
I can see your point but its more if you take everything Captain America has ever said and done and hold all that combined as the standard for "Captain America" then he isnt exactly the hero youd think he is
Well if they writers say he's a dick, he's definitely a dick. They literally write the character😕
The old saying," When you have a choice between the legend or the truth print the legend".
Which one of these things Captain America has done do you think is the most shocking? What would happen if US Agent learned about all of this and used it to become a better Captain America?
Came hoping for a introspective take on Cap, got what instead comes across as the examples of when Cap was written horribly with basically none of the context properly presented or without being somewhat twisted. Yikes
What do you think Captain America 4 New World Order is going to be like without Steve Rodgers Captain America in that movie and with Samuel Sterns the Leader as the main antagonist of this movie alongside Hulk like characters like Red Hulk? How do you think the Falcon Sam Wilson Captain America is going to deal with these Hulk villains in this movie?
Being 16 in world War 1 and 2 was common back then alot of men would lie about there age to join the military to have a jib and send money to family. Like my dad did lol
Respect 🫡
What would happen if we saw Captain America working alongside the grandfather of T'Challa during World War 2?
Or fighting BP's grandfather for invading his country
There’s a game coming out about that
What do you think Captain America would be like if he never did any of these stuff?
Ok. Sorry, but I have to say this. The Phoenix Force is a primordial force of the Universe. When bonding with a host, it gives said host near Unlimited power. When it was bonded to Jean Grey, it destroyed an entire solar system. If I was the man leading Earth's Mightiest Heroes, I would've probably also done anything to stop that thing from making it here. Even if the X-Men wanted to use the Phoenix Force for a noble purpose (restoring the mutant powers that were lost in M-Day), it was too risky, and the X-Men were quite reckless if you ask me, considering that they experienced first hand the destructive power of the Phoenix Force
Cap was trying to help vision. One is people freely sacrificing themselves, rather than one committing suicide.
How captain America is like homelander 😂
The Captian America: Civil War movie proved this.
Can you do a video about how and why we could see Kobik AKA the Cosmic Cube in the MCU? Do you think she should appear in the Loki Disney Plus show which is taking place outside the main continuity of the main Marvel universe in the MCU?
Can you do a video about how and why we could see Sin the daughter of Red Skull, Arnim-Zola, Iron Nail and Baron Blood in Captain America 4 New World Order?
Can you do a video about what all we could see in the upcoming Captain America 4 New World Order movie?
Very interesting
After watching this vid, I will continue to hold Cap as the ultimate patriot
I don't think that about cap
thanos forces were gonna attack wakanda weather vison died or not......wakanda was gonna have to fight eventually ......if not to protect vision, to protect the world in turn protecting wakanda
I'm not surprised it's someone like you who would make a video like this
What would happen if we saw Steve Rodgers Captain America doing these things in the MCU?
I felt very awkward when he kissed Shanon Carter... It's ain't correct you know
Its kinky 😭
Thanks for makeing onther video
And people saying Wanda is the evil one as you can see other avengers are not perfect either
What do you think Steve Rodgers would say if he knew about Sharon Carter as the Power_Broker during the Falcon and Winter Soldier TV show on Disney Plus?
He would punisher 😉
People treat Captain America like he's perfect.
I feel like your ruining my one of my favorite avengers a little bit
This is giving me major NicobbqMario is not a hero vibes.
if marvel studios had stuck to akk these story lines dceu black labe; would not even bother to exist. awesome stuff.
he's captain hydra I knew it
Doctor Strange isn't the hero you thought either, and Wong didn't think Dr Strange was the sorcerer supreme
Unless it's a plane or a bomb or some ice or a brain washed Bucky or spider-man ~~~
💗👌
Iron man worst things
Civil war
Faked his death
Killed a ambassador
Supoir iron man
Illuminatt telling strange to make Steve forget about it iluminta as a whole and wwh
No, captain America is the ultimate hero
He's Not my favorite hero? But however, anything he will do and the Risk he takes. He do it out of heart and really for the people. I will say he made some really Disturbing choices. But I mean most Heros have.
Let’s remember that he willingly took steroids into his blood…
On the trading lives one (2nd) the reason he was ok with trading the wakandans lives is because wakandans are African and cap comes from a time where it was “ok” to think this way.
Cap is overrated. He's not even in my top 10 favourite characters
I’m early!
My opinion is mcu Steve is a hero. Comic Steve not really but is because of the turns, and turns and turns of comics through decades
You think captain America is a villain
Captain America isn't Superman.
Oh I was unaware.
Noice
Captan America is basically ussles at this point
oh,, he's the "hero" that *I* think he is
Hi
Why isn't he a hero?

Exactly - wtf bro - these fucking leftist pieces of shit do not own these characters ; WE do- and they know that- and it makes them deranged.
