Really good tips for getting icons in Midjourney! I've used it for other things (TTRPG games) but I never thought of using them for icons. I love the "set of icons" trick too!
If I remember well, you are into role playing games. You can create character sheets similarly, by prompting midjourney with the character's description, and adding "character sheet". Then you'll get a set of avatars that look visually consistent, showing the character in different positions.
i do the same for all my thumbnails! tip: ask a chat ai liike chatgpt to suggest lesser known art period styles as base inspiration. the results are wild
Party hats are also a good solution. The reason I thought they might be trees is because on some of the less abstract icons, there were christmas trees as well
I watched this good video on using midjourney. I posted a link to a discussion of using the SEED variable to get more reproducible image styles. th-cam.com/video/znzt_3fZdYg/w-d-xo.html
I watched the video. Thanks! It was very insightful. I will experiment with the seed to see if I can generate more consistent characters for comic strips.

Zsolt, I think they were less Christmas trees and more party hats. But with abstract, it's up to the viewer, isn't it? God idea.

you should try Powertoys OCR size image converter color picker and much more
Hi wonderful Zsolt I have a irrelevant question. Is there any way to avoid disappearing, embedded excalidraw drawing in high zooming?
I've been after that issue for a while... are you experiencing it on an iPad?
