Jim, Absolutely love the boat, currently using it in the FL Everglades area (both salt and fresh water). Soon, it will be up in Northern WI. Take some time to practice putting the boat into reverse as it is different than a traditional boat and quite a bit more powerful. The boat will go through almost everything an air-boat will, handles big water well and is extremely fishable. Many down here are running $70,000 technical poling skiffs (Maverick, Hewes, etc.) and this boat will go places those can't. Tell KP hello for me! Matt
Hey Matt…one last question for you. And glad you’re enjoying the boat. I can’t wait. The threaded holes in the deck to lock down the multi position boxes with thumb screws…they don’t go through the deck open as to allow rain or water into where the foam floatation is do they? Thanks again! Jim
Hey Matt…fellow veteran here. Is there anything that locks or holds the motor tight…for when trailering long distances? A motor support in other words? Thanks in advance!
Jim, You lock the motor into position with the hydraulic pumps. The transoms are so stout, there is not a need for a transom saver. They are literally floating tanks…
