The Jones Town Massacre was in Guyana, South America, not Africa. I was there. The flip side to the Tradewinds song "Brother Jonesie" was a creole song called Lavie I wrote while I was in the band.
I recognized this song instantly when I heard it as it was in heavy rotation all over Caribbean radio BUT the vocalist doesn't sound like I remember?!?!?!? Does any1 know if Dave Martins or the Tradewinds did a cover version?
