- So, previously we had a look at the first Evil Within, and all its painful achievements, well today we travel back into STEM, in The Evil Within 2 to see how the sequel compares to the great first game, well today we do just that by grinding all 50 achievement of the base game before attempting Classic Mode sometime soon, let's get into it!

Ngl I love all of the casual Red Dwarf references, such a good show.
Hey here is a warning about classic mode modifiers: you can't upgrade your guy,you only have 7 saves, you can't upgrade guns.
Yup: it's basically "Playing Resident Evil 1" but resources are THAT SCARCE and you only found like 7 ink cartridges for saves
He has already done classic mode and it will be uploaded at a later date.
For people who just want the achievements without the actual challenge, they added options in the menu to make you effectively invincible and 1-shot everything. These don't negate achievements, so they make Classic Mode trivial.
@@sonicpsycho13 I really hate the fact that they put that in the game. I mean absolutely no offense to people who don't want to play classic mode with that, but having that achievement used to actually mean something.

Now this was my most wanted series, since Evil Within is my favorite series in all horror. Just finished your series again for the first one, so this is gonna be good! I truly enjoy both the same, but I have to say that I enjoyed Evil Within 2 a bit more for a story, but gameplay is 1. Thank you again for doing this game, I am so happy!

I'm not sure if all the achievements are possible in Shadow of War anymore due to the servers being shut down.

Man, this brings back some great memories and I really hope that, at some point, they decide to make a third game, because I really enjoyed both of them. They have their flaws, but they also introduce my two favorite horror enemies so far: Laura and the Guardian.
I played it right at release and man did this classic mode annoy me, because it was prone to crashing, I cleaned out the city before Stefano a few times before I had enough, went back to an earlier save and simple did everything before saving, so it worked out.
I had no idea that you'd get 10 times the green gel from the lockers if you don't open any lockers in your first playthrough though.
I really appreciate how you include captions as standard. I'm hard-of-hearing, so am used to videos just not being accessible to me.

I think the reason Sebastian kept feeling guilty was STEM messing with him. He dealt with the remnants of his past encounter with everything in the first game.
Hoffman got him to shake the threads loose before STEM could create another Sebastian copy to anchor his mind with guilt.

I would love to see you play the dead rising series
the oddest thing for me in this game was the big baddie responsible for STEM 2.0 in the final chapter he always does this weird hand wavey thing and im not gonna lie it kinda kills most of the scenes he's in.
I really enjoyed getting the platinum on this game, I found it easier then evil within 1 and I like the story better but the first one is better in everything else
One game you should look at Is a tactics game called Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. It's got a great story and you have to really use your head on how to get threw combat in the harder difficultys.
It was so fucking good, if only I wasn't dogshit and got past level 2.
@Szymon Komołowski Dude, on the last fight I was literally down to 1 character that was 1 shot and was only saved by RNG. I was able to heal another character before my other died the next turn. I then got super lucky and stunned the last three enemies twice which let me kill them with the assault rifle I had. I literally melted in my chair and full on breathed for what felt like the first time in hours.

I kinda wanna see the game “Zombie Estate 2” and how you could complete all of its achievements. Very fun and 8-bit style game that I think you might enjoy.

Man, this game is easily one of my favorite games ever but i can't decide which one is my favorite. I would say the first one is better in terms tension and horror, and the sequel has a better story which have an ending who made me cry.

The Evil Within 1 and 2 are my favorite horror survival... ye I dont play much but I play resident evil. My only problem with second game is story.

The first time I fought stefano I killed him with a crossbow bolt and i stg that was the most satisfying thing bec he fell with one crossbow bolt in the dead center of his chest and god I hated him so that made me happy XD Also side note have you played PREY yet?

You can use cheats and the achievements still count
You should do fallout new Vegas at some point. I think that seeing that grind would be a lot of fun. Also the game is incredible so it would be fun for you too
