Rev 9:1-2 links to Rev 7:1-4 and/or Matt 24:29. Rev 9:4-6 is either 150 years or a literally 150 days. It either started around 1874 with the “restorationist” movement gathering a “symbolic” 144K. Or literal after the Great Tribulation. Rev 9:11, Rev 11:7 link to Rev 13:11. The 2nd beast.

In several places the Bible mentions the scorpion either as a symbol of terror, torment, punishment. Revelation 9:10 says, “They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months.” They wouldn't die, but just be in immense pain for five months!

The locusts depicted in revelation sound a bit more to me than a standard grasshopper/ locust. Human faces means they can probably devour everything organic

The holy ghost came to me exactly how I asked for in my Prayer, white bright light full of healing love (havent prayed in 15yrs!) It touched my heart and i fell to my knees and cried for hours! My life knows darkness and the devil targeted me even before my birth(too shocking to share here). I was awake and conscious when i was visited, i know now its real,..there is nothing that can withold me from loving..and living..with Christ. Explaining truth to those who reject it is often futile, but here’s what I will say: Revelation 9, and indeed Chapter 8, marks the beginning of the 42-month period of the 7th seal. The 6th seal signifies the Day of the Lord, the end of the Tribulation. Chapters 8 through 11 encompass the 7th seal, which represents God's wrath. Chapters 14 through 18 revisit and expand on the 7th seal, detailing the 7 Trumpets and 7 vials of God's wrath.
The 5th seal reveals the Antichrist, and the interval between the 5th and 6th seals is 75 days, known as the Great Tribulation, which ends with the 6th seal and the Rapture. Despite all this, you will never understand the truth, even if it's laid out before you, because you claim to believe in the Lord (Titus 1:16) but reject Him through your works of the Law (2 Timothy 3:7).
Understanding the Revelation of Jesus Christ comes through faith alone, not works. The Tribulation ends with the 6th seal, the Day of the Lord (Matthew 24:29). The 7th seal, God's wrath, continues for another 42 months. The Tribulation spans from the 1st seal to the 6th seal, lasting 3.5 years or 1,335 days, not 7 years. The Antichrist is revealed near the end of the Tribulation at the 5th seal, not midway through. Many lies are propagated through works of the Law, but faith alone in Jesus Christ reveals all truth.
There is no wonder as to why young people today have so much anxiety, it's because what people thought would give them freedom only made them prisoners to the wind. There is a direct connection between anxiety and lawlessness. Having no certainty about anything is the same as being totally insecure. Things that are no longer up for question are things you no longer have to worry about. There's freedom in rules and structure because there's security in it. We may need to think outside the box sometimes but we must not forget that the box is whole point. Believe me it's quite tiresome to have to constantly rediscover the wheel every time you have a problem.

The Locusts were like unto horses(v7) shows the Beatles speedy rise to fame; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold. This refers obviously to the fact that they were the new Kings of Popular Music. Their faces were of men(v7), Their long hair is touched on in v 8, where it says "and they had hair as the hair of women. Likewise, the fact that they destroyed all the Bobbies is alluded to by their devouring teeth of lions. Their electric guitars are clearly their breastplates (v9) ( but I'm not sure if the reference to 'wings' in v 9 is a reference to Paul's next band). The 'stings in their tails ' clearly refers to the leads coming out of their electric guitars.(v10). Their power was the noise of either the amps, or the screams coming from the girls that hurt their boyfriends (v10).

How can a pit be bottomless? Obviously a hole or pit cannot be endless, otherwise it would be a tunnel and not a pit. It must surely be symbolic and where does the symbolism end in Revelation??
