- Teaching myself stop-motion the hard way. 8 Days of trial and error, using a mix of the in-camera stop-motion function on the Panasonic GH4 and eventually the Stop Motion Studio app for Mac with my iPhone (way better!).

I recently got into stopmotion, and wow the amount of work and talent that has gone into this is truly incredible. I hope to someday make something that's even a fraction as good.
I promise it was mostly trial and error. Some of the "fun" moments (things moving across the floor) were because I made a mistake and animated the fix.

Outstanding creativity and a good shot of ASMR. Easily the next best thing to building it with my sons. At 71, somewhat self conscious about building solo, and our new grandson is just a little young at 3 months. A fourth generation builder to be. I can wait. Thank you.

Amazing! I love the way you used minifigures to level up the final result, congratz! 👏👏👏 I'm also a Lumix user (Panasonic S5M2) and I use stop-motion mode for my own productions. I wish it was more user-friendly (e.g. to have live preview option while taking a sequence of photos), but still I think the result you get from a real camera is far more superior compared to smartphone, mostly because of the lenses and larger camera sensor. Very nice. Impressed how many videos this has got, nice to see a stop motion build getting reconised. I've been doing builds like this for over a year and youtube never reconises the effort that goes into building in stop motion.
Amazing video and love all the little funny animations within it.
If your using a proper camera and pc try digicam or dragon frame. I used stop motion studio but found not great for builds

I used an app called stop motion studio: added a brick or two, moved a figure a smidge, sat back and took a picture. Repeat for days....
