- Hey, everyone! I am so excited to share my latest video with you all. I've been experimenting with a new editing style and I hope you like it. I've been traveling through multiple states, got stuck in an accident, ate Mexican food, and rebuilt my bed with Jules. It's been quite an adventure and I'm so grateful to have you along for the ride. Thank you all so much for your support, it means the world to me. Have a great weekend!

Scaling back on editing and especially reducing music (or no music at all) is totally okay. Everything is fine as long as we can simply see Jules and you having your adventures!
Hi Nikki. Hope all is well. Regarding content and styles for videos, my 2 cents is: Do what makes you happy.
When I watch content creators living alternative living ways on TH-cam, my curiosity is to know how and what they do to keep them "safe", "healthy", and "happy".
I enjoy watching your videos and your personality.

You got the right idea. I also have a U tube channel and I don't edit at all. I just push go and stop, then go and stop and so on. No stress, and people like the raw realness of it. Keep going strong my friend.
Yeah, don't worry about the fancy editing and finding the perfect music.... it's good to just see your life on the road.... you being you. I am going to put in a request though for 1 electric scooter ride video per month. Just a half hour unedited.... no biggy.

Soooo right about the climate change. I remember Vermont winters where we always had feet of snow to sled, ski etc. Now. Nothing. In my own lifetime. Frightening.
You are the second van lifer with a kitty that travels so far to come up on my algorythym. I love to see that not only dogs can do van traveling. xx

There's a quite loved Christmas movie in BnW made in 1949 in which two adults were talking about the winter past and more snow in seasons past. What we see in our lifetime compared to geo and climate evolution is not even a nanosecond. But I like your content and you just the same. All the best.
Nice relaxing video. Good job. Now a little grandma advice. Never ever have anything around your neck when in a strange area. I won't even do a ponytail. Hearing those male voices while you had your keys hanging off the back of your neck was stressful to watch. Anyone with bad intent could grab the strap and tighten it up to your throat dragging you anywhere they wanted to. You did the right thing by listening to your intuition and getting out of there.

Great advice! Thank you! Did you hear my say the restroom was tiny when I was walking in? Yeah it was verrrry tiny!! They were two truckers that were in the hallway talking. Even the hallway was so tiny that their voices echoed tremendously on the close walls and short ceiling.

I can't believe you were getting yourself sorted for bed in the back while anyone could see in through the front window! 😯 I'm sure you were exhausted but still, better to be stealthy I think. Or maybe that doesn't remotely bother you lol 😅 That's just how I would be though if I was doing it... I do know another solo female van lifer who is not stealthy at all...and she doesn't want to be either (ie no fear thoughts etc etc ) which is actually kind of amazing, and she's always been perfectly fine. I guess whatever works for the individual 😊

@@NikkiJabs I'm not sure I e only seen 2 of your vids, I kinda think your hiding major talent, I'm not all mystical I'd anything, however my tail wagged when you said the firemen we're getting out of a clown car..I'm living in 4 wheel in van , not for a few months at the moment cause it's ------ 5,9999 degrees in NH .gas froze..I heard / saw you say your are ditching a bunch of editing time..I thought hmmm, that UP girl ( upper peninsulas, I'm just guessing )is giving up something she digs cause most ppl are not appreciating it.,nevA ditch a joy..a comical film noir, I'm guessing you are good at observing ppls habits and weirdness ..hmm..it's a start...I hide my sense of humor and stuff in my cartoon brain cause too many ppl think they are rocket scientists..I may be way off here, if I am, not to sorry I'm not a serial killer ..😃 it's more private on Instagram messenger oops that sounds weird..oh well..I just hit follow..humor is better than..,well, not that breakfast you had in Tenn..; ) just a thought...I think you had spinach in your tooth in that vid 🤸

Nikki, it appears that you have come around the same conclusion on providing Content as many long-term TH-camrs. Racking your brain & critiquing yourself into oblivion DOES NOT GUARANTEE the views, and NEITHER DOES the editing, music, equipment, etc. !!! The probability MAY be enhanced by a combination of those, but there is NO PROOF. Most veteran Content Creators have gotten lucky, or reached their viewers through persistence by drawing on common interests ( i.e. Traveling, Family, Pets, Hobbies, etc. ). Remember, it's NOT how many times you shoot your gun ( number of videos, quality/editing, music, ), but who you go hunting with that counts ( the viewers that you bring along on your adventures GREAT or Small ), the significance is in the eye of the beholder. That's my analogy : but could be widely used, my story and I'm sticking with it. Keep being creative, and fit in those mini-adventures as/if they present themselves, just be REAL ....... that sells and is so welcoming on all levels. Always, Syn Silver.

Yes! The restroom was TINY and they were technically about 8 feet from me. The hallway they were standing in was probably 7’x10’ big hahah
