You are a trip, you should if asked the guy what he could of done about the tick encounter 🤸😄 if it was new and you had asked, I would uv said " well mam these are called manatee ticks, most deadly kind and even if they they just touched you the only way to prevent a possible infestation on your leg is this special first aid thing, it's Dr approved down here and it's called " tick twister" and lucky for you I have one and I'm trained and certified in the administration of this safety measure and it takes 2"two for it to work :)
Ticks have to actually bite you to be a problem. AND, my understanding is that they need to be attached to you for 24 hours for any illness to be transferred. At least, that is how I handle the same concern, and I live in an area with a LOT of ticks. So, I think you're okay. Good idea to brush your cat thoroughly, cuz animals can definitely bring them into the "house"

@@NikkiJabs I keep a small jar of alcohol around to kill the ticks. Simply drop them into the alcohol. This is MUCH better than trying to squash them.
