Hey just watched this, inspired. I made my first waistcoat last year and definitely need more in my wardrobe I love tweeds, corduroy, brocade and linens, never really considered tattersall but after your epic dance, which I won't be recreating, may consider an addition to my clothing collection.
Hahah tattersall is a great pattern because in many ways it bridges the gap between country and city as far as the dressing tradition. As far as colors and styling it really is an item that helps you put together outfits . Thanks for watching!

Loved the video! I was a little concerned about your reluctance to starting with corduroy vests, nothing to be ashamed of! It is lovely fabric and much harder to find currently! In high school, I stole all of my Dad's old corduroy bell bottoms from the 70s and wore them until they were see through in the early 2010s. One of the best examples of how the fit of garments is so particular, and not gender specific. It also helped that I started to ware them in the 90s, so no one really noticed and weren't even baggy enough for the norm.
My hands down favourite was the purple and green combo. I love that colour combo. Also, Im obsessed with Bridgerton so the look inspired by the show was wonderful!!

My favorite is the Bobby from Boston tattersall waist coat that your tailor put a rich purple backing upon. You look so good with the creams, golds, and periwinkle colors, I’m drooling 🤤.
Purple is my weakness! Being used to the wampum belts of the Iroquois, (Purple and white wampum beads) as well as having a wampum bead bracelet, I love that color so much!

I really like the fedoras you style, colors, height, etc. I have been looking on eBay,etsy and my limited used clothing stores. Can you recommend a source? Mr. Wellington is one of my favorite and probably the best men's style you tubers out there in digital media land....
I don't know much about menswear, though I thought I at least knew all the basic elements... But I had no idea that some collars are buttoned to the shirt like that! I suppose that is to avoid washing them as much as the shirts themselves? Or to offer variability in terms of mixing and matching? Either way, loved the outfits!

The challenging outdoor scene with pheasant hunting and fishing is very interesting! I remember in the mid 90s having a tapestry vest like that but with teddy bears all over it.
My favourite outfit was the first one. The tattersall with red jacket and the wonderful round hat. The tattersall absorbed some of the bright red tie. Wonderful.
I'm sure you don't see comments years later but as a woman who wears so many great clothes that are "menswear" I appreciate your comments about not being locked into gender to find great clothes.
