I am in awe of how you are able to feed everyone in your home the same. I can be 4 different dinners some nights. It’s a pain, and problem that never seemed to exist when they were in childcare or eating the many varied Ellas kitchen meals of their childhood and toddler years. It’s so triggering for me as a person with an eating disorder not to blame myself for how we have ended up in the sausage and chicken nugget phase. The mom guilt is real, but good on you Emily. It’s such a good achievement.

Your weekly meal plan is a great idea. I do that sometimes but, I certainly have to tweak my way of planning it all out because I always leave something out and return to the store or order so many unnecessary items making my grocery bill way too high every week. Thank you for sharing your meal plan ideas with us all. :-))

I get what you’re saying about fussy children. And it’s not easy. But if you include one new ingredient per week or mix grated carrots courgette in bolognese and cauliflower in sauce Gradually you will change their diet. A child will not starve itself. And if there is no option ie no treat’s available then they will gradually realise that this what we eat. It also helps if you eat at the table and put food on the table so everyone to serve themselves. It really does make a difference. And learning to serve their own food is a skill. I trained as a nanny and this was part of my training. It’s hard now when many families eat round the tv.

I’m used to American versions of these and they always seem so strange as their packaging is so different?! Love such content as my kids are also 11/9/7 all boys. My oldest will not eat at school as he says that the line is so long and they only have 30 mins to eat. So have ti give him a hot lunch f from home. After ironing worst job ever. How did you find it with Fraser in his first month of high school. A video would be great May be with Fraser if he allows.
