+MidnightAxe which is fair enough. My opinion was only based on that one piece of footage, maybe a couple of situations would have made for a more informative decision on my part.
Wait what? You actually think S6 has better mic because it's louder? I could hear EVERYTHING better on the S6 , yes, but that includes traffic behind you too. With the 6S+ the mic was a bit weaker, but it didn't have anywhere NEAR as much background noise as the S6...
The s6 wins because it has stereo sound, the iPhone has only, mono which is like comparing 1080p sound resolution to 4k sound resolution the iPhone is behind in tech ones again
+Yellow Chinksta yep i agree and after all you can change the color by adding filter and photoshoping procces and Techsource has forget to tell that the s6 have a wide shot so you can have more details in your pic
+aman ahuja All of his complaints had to do with exposure. To change exposure it takes half a second to swipe down or up a tad to manually adjust it. boom, done.
Thanks Juan! These take lots of times and I do my best to get the best pictures and break them down into categories and analyzes each aspect in detail. Many people dont realize that and look at the pictures taken and base off the 'best camera' from what looks nice lol.
5:30 Galaxy s6 take the point for microphone quality? Sorry but that really cant be serious. The iPhone 6s audio quality was lightyears agead. There was WAY better noice cancelling, while the s6 had alot bankground noises
Not really lightyears, i mean first thing wrong with your comment was that you was talking about distance not time and second thing was that the background noise for the s6 was too high not the main sounds.
+coolertuep it depends. if you want to record a video as-is, hearing what you really hear at the scene, you dont want the mic to cancel all the background sound. You would want the mic to capture every sound.
idk what you're smoking but the S6 took the better video and the iphone's pictures were alot more saturated, just look at the red flowers, they almost look pink on the iphones picture and the S6 had alot more detail on the flowers...
+Charan Koppinani yep Techsource has forget to tell that the s6 have a wide angle pic so you can have more details in your pic and the camerafuture are more intersting in the s6 (keep in mind that the s6 is much more cheaper .......................................) and he is one year older lol
Actually yes. Though the GS6 has more vibrant and colorful pics that most people would prefer. It also has more detail. Anyways the phones should be for the people who want either one.
This is actually the first video I saw on TH-cam where 6s front facing camera is better than S6. .... On iPhone6/6s HDR is always on for the front facing camera ... You can't turn it off even in video recording, that is the reason why you could see the background clouds. That said, is some situations the always on HDR for facetime camera produces really bad images since it tries to balance the background light and loses the subject in focus. There are many videos on youtube that compares S6/6s front camera and show this problem. Also due to this problem, sometimes iPhone6/6s front facing camera performs even worse than iPhone5s camera. The always on HDR is really a bad option for a photographer. Apple is forcing HDR for facetime time which is really a bad sign. Many times this forced HDR will show proper background but that will result in a washed out image for the subject in focus.
At 4:00 the iPhone does not look blurry at all, and its much easier to read the words of the sign from its camera! Also, the iPhone's video stabilization at 4:30 seemed noticeably more stable to me...the S6 seemed to wobble side to side! Awesome vid nonetheless.
I agree most of the part except the exposure parts because it depends which object you tapped into. IF you tap the darker color, the cloud will show and the exposure wont be that high
it's weird. I saw two camera comparison on supersaf tv and the verge the s6 was the clear winner, here i would choose the 6s+. how can you explain that ?
It seems like all the pictures from the iphone was shot in HDR mode while it was off on Samsungs devices. And the picture you showed with the purple petals just looks awful on the 6s+ while it looks more real on the S6.
The only thing that i don't really like from samsung's camera is the result is usually "yellow-ish" especially on daylight. meanwhile iphone's camera usually resulting same color as the reality. but for overall device, i prefer samsung. I only use camera like twice a day, maybe fewer.
Better camera, faster processor, faster gpu (low res for even more performance) and faster overall OS. This is the best iPhone since the first one. Previous iPhones were always worse than its android competitors, by a large margin. The only thing keeping me from this is the resolution and how iOS is boring.
The thing is. How Quick the CPU and GPU is, makes no difference. They're different operating systems. iOS is still better optimized, making it just as fast as Android flagsships. It's all a matter og preference, not how fast the CPU is.
+LinusMLGTips thats not true, it's always just marginally better, or sometimes worse than its competitors, and usually, its competitors have been out for months already. Also, the resolution plays a big factor on why it performs better with graphics tasks
TheUnboxerMan It does matter. iOS IS very light to run, but some android phones in the past had such a powerful chipset that it still outperforms the iphones. The chipset also plays a big factor in gaming, which is important to me. I think we'll be seeing more demanding games soon because of the a9
+jerome ley yep the screen is 720p on the iphone, the screen it self dont need a lot of power to run (and the fact that iphone is the much cheaper phone to manufacture vs all other flagship pissmeoff)
Apple did a really good job on the 6S Plus, this was the first time I was ever really tempted to get a iPhone over Samsung. But I still feel the iPhone is a little bit behind the rest for the price you pay for it. but nice to see Apple finally stepping up its camera game.
+dablaire89 you need tested by your self ! ^^ i have the two phones and iphone is true to life in some pic but not in others the some with the s6 there is no perfect camera but if you add the wide angle of the s6 and the camera future and the price of the phone the s6 wins for me the s6 still better this is maybe because i m used a lot with it and with all his future
The iPhone 6S has a better audio record than the Samsung S6, if you're going to film something using the Samsung S6, then you'll get too much background noise. The iPhone 6s has lived up to the update on their noise cancelling feature.
The microphone on the 6s works with MONO, so, it's better for voice, and for the facetime or something else. But S6 works with STEREO, that much better for filming and making some videos on the rear-camera. Actually, it makes no sense to film something with nature sound or city-sound on the iPhone 6s. Because of mono. You will always add some music in iMovie or any other app to your video. Mono sound in 2015 - it's not an innovation. I perfer to chose between stereo/mono but Apple has deprived us of such an opportunity. If we talking about Photos - both did a great job!
See the first photo the electricity Lines on poles are not at all visible in S6. When the front camers is being used for 360 capture, look at the sky, S6 has nothing to offer while 6s+ has sun setting, clouds etc.
a good photographer can take great photos using 5MP Cameras and make them great using editing (which is what almost ALL photos are once they are posted on IG, FB, etc). So get the phone you want, love the phone you want. I think the S6 took better photos, but I like the iPhone just because. It's a phone! Not a religion!
The well lit pictures go to the S6 for me (and I dislike both companies) simpley because of the photo at 06:39. I have these flowers and the colour of the S6 is far more accurate, the 6s looks disgustingly unreal.
To be honest I think the S6 has the better camera. Maybe its personal but the pictures looked sharper and more pleasant. But the 6s is good also and espacially dynamic range. One question. Was HDR on
You should also give commentry since just showing us the samples doesn't completely answer our question..we do not know what was the scene like in real life..how were the colours etc..great job on the video though..love ur channel
+TechSource How about re-doing this test with HDR enabled on both? Most people I know, including myself always shoot with the basic settings. On the iPhone that means: HDR Disabled. On the Galaxy S6 that means: HDR on AUTO. Was HDR on Auto on the S6? If not, that explains it's bad dynamic range. I myself use my S6 with HDR always enabled. HDR in pics and video's truly lifts the S6' camera performance to one heck of an level.
Obviously the G4 vs the iPhone. I was quite surprised by this test. I thought that S6 will destroy the iPhone. But... Like I said, I'm quite surprised. I'm tempted for the 6S+, really tempted.
your title says "iphone 6S" but you used more expensive iphone 6S plus (with OIS) for comparison. This is not fair considering price backet of the phones. BTW, it would be interesting to see if iphone 6s can shine a candle against the best smart phone camera out there (android of course) Panesonic CM1
Gotta admit Iphone 6S plus wins, although in some pics and in videos galaxy S6 is far better. However gotta point out that the one phone costs 1000 euro and the other costs 450. I really dont think that 500+ are worth for these differences. You pay for the brand as always... Samsung will always be better vfm choice
it's basically how much you see in a picture(light and darker areas). Like for example in the image of the logitech mouse iphone captured the whole mouse you could also see the darker areas but in the s6 image the darker part was completely dark.
You should've used the s6 edge+ or Note 5 against the 6s+. I know the two have the same camera hardware as the regular s6, but Samsung might've made tweaks to the post processing in their latest and greatest.
I can't decide which one is better.Galaxy's have best colors on their cameras since s2 ,but in this test s6 camera take bad pictures where it should take good and vice versa.
Significant price difference between these phones. To get more than 16gb iPhone 6s+ is $850 USD. Galaxy s6 is about $580. You lose optical image stabilization if you get regular iPhone 6s. Also you have half the resolution screen on iPhone 6s vs Galaxy s6. Plus the mono video speaker is awful vs stereo. Watch other video comparisons to see audio difference when not standing next to highway. Voice difference is significant.
lumia 950 please!!!!! your the best I've ever seen when it comes to being straight up with the cameras!!!! I think the lumia 950 or xl , I think can bang with the V10& iPhone! Erica the technology nerd is scared to do it because she's a Lumia hater! your the man! I like your swagg and setup!
I have to disagree on the microphone front. The mic on the S6 might be louder, but that background noise D:
+Dandragon123 Same story for me!
Sometimes background noise can be a good thing, its just unfortunate that you are all apple fanboys, so your logic is...
uhm..
+Alexander Colwill yes clearly we don't want the background noise to distract our video recording
But the 6S+ has a lower mic volume, Which makes it a bit harder to hear people talking, Just in my opinion
+Eky00 I like the s6 better because when you are in a room or a quiet place it sounds amazing.
The s6 wins because it has stereo sound, the iPhone has only, mono which is like comparing 1080p sound resolution to 4k sound resolution the iPhone is behind in tech ones again
daniel carrillo Apple has been behind tech but I feel like this iphone is very good, I'd still buy the Note 5 over the 6s+ though.
+Eky00 I totally agree with you
S6 mic is stereo, 6S is mono. Apple can do much better !!
I actually prefer the colors of the s6. Though 6s+ did a great job as well.
+aman ahuja Yeah, I have to agree with you. I like the warmer look to everything, it gives it a nice classy look to it.
+Yellow Chinksta yep i agree and after all you can change the color by adding filter and photoshoping procces and Techsource has forget to tell that the s6 have a wide shot so you can have more details in your pic
Houssem Slimani Tech source even failed to mention the presence of manual mode in s6.
+aman ahuja All of his complaints had to do with exposure. To change exposure it takes half a second to swipe down or up a tad to manually adjust it. boom, done.
Devin Scott I agree
iphone s6 vs samsung 6s wait a sec...
/\ /\
You got it backwards
your camera comparison videos are the best
Thanks Juan! These take lots of times and I do my best to get the best pictures and break them down into categories and analyzes each aspect in detail. Many people dont realize that and look at the pictures taken and base off the 'best camera' from what looks nice lol.
+TechSource it's a comparison very prolix. Congratulations for your job on the channel. Greetings from Argentina!

Galaxy s6 take the point for microphone quality?
Sorry but that really cant be serious. The iPhone 6s audio quality was lightyears agead. There was WAY better noice cancelling, while the s6 had alot bankground noises
Not really lightyears, i mean first thing wrong with your comment was that you was talking about distance not time and second thing was that the background noise for the s6 was too high not the main sounds.
+coolertuep LOL Iphone sound.. it's like a GoPro
A lightyear is measurement of distance
+coolertuep noice canceling isn't good for a microphone it's not a headphone!! A mic should record the accurate sound reproduction.
+coolertuep
it depends. if you want to record a video as-is, hearing what you really hear at the scene, you dont want the mic to cancel all the background sound. You would want the mic to capture every sound.
man your camera shootouts are the best out there. Genuine unbiased real world test
+Matt Alvaro Thx Matt!
idk what you're smoking but the S6 took the better video and the iphone's pictures were alot more saturated, just look at the red flowers, they almost look pink on the iphones picture and the S6 had alot more detail on the flowers...
iPhone looks vibrant in blue shades and better in low light. But remaining time s6 is better.
In photos
+Charan Koppinani yep Techsource has forget to tell that the s6 have a wide angle pic so you can have more details in your pic and the camerafuture are more intersting in the s6 (keep in mind that the s6 is much more cheaper .......................................) and he is one year older lol
+Houssem Slimani 6 months older not a year older, thats a big difference.
Ricardo De Koning my bad
Oh man the stabilization goes for the 6s
So many uploads! o.o
+Tri Born He is going hard
+Tri Born Better get that iphone hype money
Im TᗺK oh for real
dude, your videos are sick. i love them. keep up the good work
Iphone 6s has way more natural colours
lies
Actually yes. Though the GS6 has more vibrant and colorful pics that most people would prefer. It also has more detail. Anyways the phones should be for the people who want either one.
+Totally Winning Pro Gamer ayy shut up
The-terminator K. Buy the phone you want, that's what I'm saying.
Totally Winning Pro Gamer buy me one-
Your attention to detail is INSANE - this is literally the EXACT review I would make myself or want to see. Thank you!!!
This is the best comparison Channel, by far!
Greetings from Hawaii! Nice video ed.
I"m not a huge iPhone fan but, I'm really glad to see the camera has stepped up.
i always supporting u!!👍
Stabilisation to the s6 are you high?
Man dude you uploaded a lot in the last day seriously
At 4:00 the iPhone does not look blurry at all, and its much easier to read the words of the sign from its camera! Also, the iPhone's video stabilization at 4:30 seemed noticeably more stable to me...the S6 seemed to wobble side to side! Awesome vid nonetheless.
This was incredibly detailed and helpful. Thanks for the great research and presentation.
I agree most of the part except the exposure parts because it depends which object you tapped into.
IF you tap the darker color, the cloud will show and the exposure wont be that high
hii
iphone 6s+ so won
it's weird. I saw two camera comparison on supersaf tv and the verge the s6 was the clear winner, here i would choose the 6s+. how can you explain that ?
+motler telcy shooting conditions vary.
+TechSource thanks for the quick answer. i'm agree with you for the verge but supersaf tv comparison is exactly like your and the result still differ.
+motler telcy super saff is insanely BIASED
+motler telcy Becuase the verge shows bias that's why only Techsource shows accurate tech reviews
It seems like all the pictures from the iphone was shot in HDR mode while it was off on Samsungs devices. And the picture you showed with the purple petals just looks awful on the 6s+ while it looks more real on the S6.

+Arga Satya you can use manual control on gs6 and chane the color before you take the shot so s6 wins this time i think
+black2fox1 yep and the camera app future is much better in the s6 you can play with all the future to take the best pic for you
The lg g4 has the best camera controls if you are seriously into photography lg g4 shoots raw image
Erik Rodriguez s6 also shoots row imagd
True
Louder mic on s6. But background noise cancelling on the 6s+
Iphone 6s+ better
No
yup it is
+Finding_Xeno Yes.
3:50 is true, much better quality...
yesss
What skin material did you choose for the iPhone? Idk what to pick.
Great videos!
thanks its so useful comparaison

keep it up Broo nice video😊😊👍
Nice video !
6S Camera+Android+8 Cores+A9 Chip+A9 GPU+S6 Screen+4GB Ram=PERFECT
The best comparison yet
how about the difference between iphone 6s and 6s+ is there any difference ?
+Fah Thanaporn video coming up within the next few hours!
+TechSource you should do a 6 vs 6s because I don't even know if I want to upgrade yet...
1:26 which purple flower is closer to the real color? Is one of them oversaturated?
1:32 which yellow hydrant is the real color?
+dablaire89 you need tested by your self ! ^^ i have the two phones and iphone is true to life in some pic but not in others the some with the s6 there is no perfect camera but if you add the wide angle of the s6 and the camera future and the price of the phone the s6 wins for me the s6 still better this is maybe because i m used a lot with it and with all his future
You should do comparisons the Note 5 vs. LG G4, but with raw photos
Iphone cameras are like one generation behind samsung so maybe you should compare the 6S with the galaxy s5
Do you think the Beats pill XL is worth the price? If not do you have any recommendations for speakers similar to the Beats Pill XL in terms of size
Try the UE Mega Boom
Any Bose speaker, beats pill is a rip off
Ok thanks guys
What is the resolution of the front facing camera on the s6?
hey techsource these pictures are from note 5 and iPhone then why put it in S6
The iPhone 6S has a better audio record than the Samsung S6, if you're going to film something using the Samsung S6, then you'll get too much background noise. The iPhone 6s has lived up to the update on their noise cancelling feature.
Why the samples are always the exact same?...
it has a 21.4 megapixel camera that I love very dearly
Hi, could you please change the name of the video so that it correctly reflects the actuall phone you're using is this comparison.
Galaxy S6 wins!
Well it didnt. :D
+TheUnboxerMan well it did
Well it did. The iPhone 6S on list of better smartphones in cameras, was 10° :)
Wm David Not according to the guy who made the video, so yea :)
+andy wesis sorry mate but the iPhone 6S+ smashed the S6. iPhones cameras have always been great!
Could you do a camera test when the Z5 is available? Realy curious about the new lens and sensor :D
Iphone 6S vs Sony Xperia Z5 Camera test.
2:40 you're sponsored by Northwest Business Park confurmed m8
3:18 confurmed spoonsered bye mio inergy
The microphone on the 6s works with MONO, so, it's better for voice, and for the facetime or something else.
But S6 works with STEREO, that much better for filming and making some videos on the rear-camera.
Actually, it makes no sense to film something with nature sound or city-sound on the iPhone 6s. Because of mono. You will always add some music in iMovie or any other app to your video. Mono sound in 2015 - it's not an innovation. I perfer to chose between stereo/mono but Apple has deprived us of such an opportunity.
If we talking about Photos - both did a great job!
Can you compare the iPhone 6s camera and the htc one m9 camera please
6s+ vs lg g4 camera comparisson?
+Alain van Ginkel its on the list, trying to get to it.
+TechSource 👍
what camera sensor does your S6 have? ISOCELL or Sony IMX240? As both sensors has different quality
Good job and Ed thanks for the comparison. LG G4 vs iPhone 6s Plus would be nice :-)
Getting to it after the note 5 :)
See the first photo the electricity Lines on poles are not at all visible in S6. When the front camers is being used for 360 capture, look at the sky, S6 has nothing to offer while 6s+ has sun setting, clouds etc.
How come when you compare 6s+ to note 5 you say it's a tie and both cameras are great while the note 5 camera is the same camera on the s6?
a good photographer can take great photos using 5MP Cameras and make them great using editing (which is what almost ALL photos are once they are posted on IG, FB, etc). So get the phone you want, love the phone you want. I think the S6 took better photos, but I like the iPhone just because. It's a phone! Not a religion!
please do a camera comparison between iPhone 6s vs lg g4 please
The well lit pictures go to the S6 for me (and I dislike both companies) simpley because of the photo at 06:39. I have these flowers and the colour of the S6 is far more accurate, the 6s looks disgustingly unreal.
To be honest I think the S6 has the better camera. Maybe its personal but the pictures looked sharper and more pleasant.
But the 6s is good also and espacially dynamic range.
One question. Was HDR on
Do a comparison of the iPhone 6s and LG g4 please.
You should also give commentry since just showing us the samples doesn't completely answer our question..we do not know what was the scene like in real life..how were the colours etc..great job on the video though..love ur channel
12 phone uploads and non setup wars
Please do best cases for the iPhone 6s :)
Damn I hate how the iPhone always manages to beat the Galaxy on the camera front! Thanks for the great video!
well he has a video comparing the 6s's camera and the note 5's camera and all the pictures there are same as the ones here..wtf?
please we want a comparison between galaxy s6 and note 5
Obviously the G4 vs the iPhone. I was quite surprised by this test. I thought that S6 will destroy the iPhone. But... Like I said, I'm quite surprised. I'm tempted for the 6S+, really tempted.
the thing is with cameras, i look at sharpness because you can always change the colors
Slow motion ???
great video
iphone 6s vs LG G4 camera and speed test plz
I know it's old but I'd like to see the lumia 1020 against the latest and greatest smartphones of today
The colours on the 6S look more vibrant where as on the S6 it look as if the colours are drained out slightly.
i kept getting confused since the similar names of the phones s6 and 6s xd but great video was waiting for this liked
You probably should add the + to the end of "iPhone 6s" in the title.
I believe the S6 has way more vibrant colors. Personally, I enjoy the not as vibrant look, makes it feels a little more modern.
Which is a better phone to take pictures of moving objects like kids and pets?
Which one is your favourite?
do a comparison versus the LG G4
The title says 6s while the video says 6s+?
your title says "iphone 6S" but you used more expensive iphone 6S plus (with OIS) for comparison.
What is dynamic range ??
it's basically how much you see in a picture(light and darker areas). Like for example in the image of the logitech mouse iphone captured the whole mouse you could also see the darker areas but in the s6 image the darker part was completely dark.
update the fricking video iphone 6s vs samsung s7
When the iphone 7 comes out, it will be an even competition.
You should've used the s6 edge+ or Note 5 against the 6s+. I know the two have the same camera hardware as the regular s6, but Samsung might've made tweaks to the post processing in their latest and greatest.
The angle of the pictures are not the same. You can't judge the quality like that. Specialy when it's that close.
What do you prefer the I phone 6s or the Samsung galaxy s6??
Only disagreement is that the iPhone has clearly better stabilisation
+Xz D E V I L S P A W N zX Do note the video is shot on a 6S+ not an 6s, the 6s will not have OIS while the 6s+ will, just letting you know
Do the 6s+ versus the Htc One M9
I can't decide which one is better.Galaxy's have best colors on their cameras since s2 ,but in this test s6 camera take bad pictures where it should take good and vice versa.
Do the note 5 or the edge plus
Significant price difference between these phones. To get more than 16gb iPhone 6s+ is $850 USD. Galaxy s6 is about $580. You lose optical image stabilization if you get regular iPhone 6s. Also you have half the resolution screen on iPhone 6s vs Galaxy s6. Plus the mono video speaker is awful vs stereo. Watch other video comparisons to see audio difference when not standing next to highway. Voice difference is significant.
Try comparing with the S6 Edge Plus / Note 5
lumia 950 please!!!!! your the best I've ever seen when it comes to being straight up with the cameras!!!! I think the lumia 950 or xl , I think can bang with the V10& iPhone! Erica the technology nerd is scared to do it because she's a Lumia hater! your the man! I like your swagg and setup!
Would go for the Samsung anytime.
