Hi Mike. I am from Iowa. Been watching your channel for about 2 years. I work for telephone company installing/repairing telephone and Internet lines. Last year I started a side tree service business with a friend. I ordered a HD3032 skid steer log splitter from Wolfe Ridge. When I called Chris, I told him that I watch your channel. Another thing that is awesome about Wolfe Ridge, he gives a veteran’s discount. I would highly recommend. I also store my firewood in IBC totes. I was able to find totes for $15 a piece from a recycling business. They recycle the plastic totes and then sale the cages. Love watching your channel.
Love to see a company prosper like that. You must feel a sense of pride in knowing you had something to do with that. Wolfe Ridge certainly appreciates you.

I bought my splitter from Chris when he was still just a tiny outfit, renting space in the commercial building down the road from the airport where I worked. We've used it hard every year since, and it barely shows any signs of wear. I can vouch for how well he builds his machines. He's a stand-up guy who stands behind his machines and supports his community.

I was able meet Chris last week as he was securing his load when I picked up my new splitter. Almost the same as yours except the electric start and 6 way. I'm happy with mine, as you'll be with yours. I'll be adding a conveyor and more wedges in the future, thanks for your help in deciding on a stand up business to support!
Phil here from NE Indiana. Just when you thought Wolfe Ridge splitter couldn't get any better along comes Chris with a redesign. The log lift is a better design for sure. I wasn't too sure about the auto forward/return but after watching you split a few logs and I see how it works...maybe it's ok. Need to watch it in action more. Wolfe Ridge splitters, definitely a win-win for you and Chris. Without OWTM I wouldn't have known about Wolfe Ridge.
The size of the rod on that main ram is impressive. I would say they are being conservative with their load rating, which is a good thing, and best part is most of the components look to be made in your country. Great little success story and shows that there is actually a good side to YT, in that you demonstrating the gear meant he had to expand and employ more workers.. Win Win all around.

Wolf Ridge is a great company! Hard working and honest. I have the 28 ton pro model. Mine is a little bit older and does not have the hydraulic wedge. That's the only thing I wish i had on mine. It has performed time and again for me with zero issues. I can't say enough good things about the splitter and the company that stands behind it. Still wish I had the hydraulic wedge though.

As a retired guy from a very large engineering/manufacturing company, I was responsible for contracting subcontractors for various made to order components. Utilizing a small competent business was like a gift from God. You be fair to them they will perform as expected plus more. Big business always gets a bad rap but I’d hands down loved working with small manufactures like Wolfridge. I’d say their employees are happy this Easter.

The log lift is brilliant and solves problems that most people wouldn’t have realized existed. Also looks like the two hydraulic cylinder levers have moved to the opposite side, closer to the operator. That’s a good move too. Glad to hear about the Paul Bunyan show. Out of curiosity, you have the 6 way splitter for use on larger logs but you kept using the single blade assembly and had to resplit the two upper portions each time. Why didn't you use the other splitter assembly and show us how well it worked? Really glad to hear the amount of growth that Wolfe Ridge has had. Great product line and a well deserved level of growth for good folks.

I was just watching your video doing the septic line extension and clearing for a food plot. I looked on the internet for suggestions of garden plants. They said broccoli, cauliflower, some beans (bush, wax and faba) carrots if the soil is slightly acidic and cabbages.
That is Awesome the machine is. Fun time with it. yours and Chris' relationship is a great thing for both. Each helping the other with respect too. Both your families have a Happy Easter and be safe.
I have the old style log lift on my Wolferidge, I wonder if the new one will fit it? I do have the auto cycle and its the ONLY way to go! Love my Wolferidge!
