I love Kuan Yin’s energy. I only use Alana’s pocket oracles to get a message. Her guidebooks tend to dilute or obfuscate the meaning.

People convert to different religions all the time, separate from their background a culture. I'm a white girl and I work with Kwan Yin too. I love Mary energy and I get that from her. I'm not religious at all but I find the feminine and loving vibes comforting.

Have you seen the Poesis oracle? It’s a black and cream deck with these really thought provoking surrealist images with a poem to go with every card. I feel like it might be up your oracle alley. It’s one of my top decks. I love those poetry decks you showed! I’ll definitely have to pick up at least the Clifton and Dickinson. And using them almost as tarot prompts is genius. Also I love two card pulls, one tarot one oracle. It’s the right balance to get my brain going.

I can totally see why you use the Clifton Divining Poets deck more. Thinking I might want that one too! Have you considered making a mega deck with all the best quotes? Maybe the differences in writing style would be too jarring 🤷🏼♀️. I really wanted to love the Prophet too. The art is beautiful, but some of the quotes seemed too grand or lofty(?) or something like that! Looking forward to the next instalment! ✨

No clue! Back in the day, I imagined myself being part of a movement for my generation. Heheh. I don't know with social media and instapoets or whatever else is happening out there.
It's so funny. We (fellow poet/writer buddies of my youth) were trying to go against convention and that meant no rhyme, no meter. I trained myself not to like it. But, studying form and rhyme is so important. The crafting of a rhyme scheme ain't easy! Definitely deserving of a fan.
Dustin of Modern Metaphysicae uses the Messages of Light Oracle as a Journal Deck. He pulls a card and uses the keyword on the card as a starting point for journaling
Trim that half done Kuan Yin deck. Take it down to the inner border-words and edging gone!

Not an unpopular opinion ~ I'm to the point now that if the deck has an "Abundance" card, I won't buy it! Like 3 swords through the heart....
