  • *Early Access to the Personal Knowledge management tool, Tana.inc.*
    In this video we will go through a simple man's (read: smooth-brain's 🧠) use of Tana - Tana is for everyone, but the twitter-debate could have you believe this tool requires hardcore understanding of knowledge management.
    Do you feel like you're constantly drowning in information? Do you find yourself struggling to remember everything you've learned? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you're likely dealing with a problem with personal knowledge management. In this video, I'll discuss the reasons why personal knowledge management is for everyone, and show how a simple question - what is this note? - is enough to create sufficient structure and superpower your notetaking.
    If you like my videos - or want to yell at me for obvious mistakes, please get in touch. I pretty much live on Twitter ( and in the Tana Slack community.)
    Chapters:
    00:00 - Spicy Intro
    00:38 - A simple man's notetaking needs
    01:49 - One question to supercharge your notes
    03:36 - Using live search to find anything
    04:46 - Simpleton wisdom
    05:54 - Outro and watch next

    Sweet sentiments! Better than any other tool before it, Tana seems to blend infinite flexibility and real power with a remarkable degree of simplicity and ease of use.

    it's amazing how many meetings, meals and deadlifts people need to track. those are just things to be done...

      What do you mean, Gustavo?

    • @GustavoMontanha
      @GustavoMontanha 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BrageBang what I think lacks in all these examples is real world, things that other can reuse - tracking food and workouts... well, it's not a thing that will keep people returning to the app. It's annoying and time consuming.

      What are some things people need to track@@GustavoMontanha ? I'm not being spurious, just genuinely want your take. FWIW, tracking meetings (and more importantly the takeaways, notes and discussions around meetings) is, I would argue, a high-value type of information to track.

      My own main use case before joining the Tana team was a CRM system for complex deals + a content production pipeline for a podcast.@@GustavoMontanha

    Super helpful, thanks. Could you perhaps do a video showing how a property estate agent could use it to track their sales listings and sales enquiries?

    • @BrageBang
      @BrageBang  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great idea, Sam! Would work well with my next video idea, actually. Will have to talk to an estate agent beforehand-you game? If so, hit me up on Twitter!
