Winnipesaukee Scenic: Spring Train Rides

On Sunday, May 12, I went to the Winnipesaukee Scenic to see the first trains of the season. This year, it was led by SW1001 1590, and featured newly refurbished parlor car Determination and caboose The Leo. The railroad was just purchased by Patriot Rail, and so far it seems not much has changed up here... for now! Seeing 1590 on point was a nice change from 1012 all the time, which has shifted positions to Lincoln operations.

Oh and I heard that they renamed the hobo railroad :(

They repainted and refurbished the party caboose and determination. And yeah the hobo was renamed, not much we can do about it though. Thanks for watching!
