Just take something apart, keep track of where your screws go and, if you need it, TH-cam will probably have someone that can walk you step by step on how to reassemble it. Also ifixit will have instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble items.

      @@farizakmal3393 well, it's prett easy these days with more youtube guides than actual people reparing stuff.
      if it's hardware it's "easier" to repair something than a softwareproblem. BUT finding the hardwareproblem isn't easy.
      start somewhere easy, learn and repeat.

      It's just a perfect amount of thermal paste, that's all. Steve have lot of experience but even he can't or won't fix many things (to damaged or to complicated). He sticks to things he's comfortable with, and that's fine. Sometimes he struggle with consoles cases, but it's a learning experience and we all have something to watch. Win-Win.

    This reminds me of something my dad taught me: I wanted to replace the plastic screen of my gameboy and got a replacement. Then I‘d sit down put my tools together when he asked me what I was doing. I said, I need to open it to replace the plastic screen. He just had a look, took a piece of sharp plastic and popped it out right away. Then he told me: always watch out for the easiest way- there was no need to open it up completely and I probably would have broke something while doing that- just like cameron did as you showed, there was actually no need to remove the battery for fixing the actual failure with the button 😊

    • @Tronicsfix

      Nah, then it would be much more difficult to replace the battery. Those large wires would be prone to coming loose too.

  • @liamlinh

    I have question about full load, it would be 30w, and based on battery voltage is 7.4V or maybe 11v. It look like double wire for positive and negative, so at least 2A for single wire. Is that ok to using small wire like that?

    • @LucasFCardoso100

    Why do I feel like red PCBs look cheap and tacky?

      @Tronicsfix yeah I'm not sure what's made me feel that way. I think black PCBs look the nicest by far, but that's just me.

      Try a green or an amber one like a lot of PC boards were in the olden days. I am pretty sure the GPU on my first PC I ever built (ATI 9800 Pro) was a red one and that was not so common back then. Most PC PCBs nowadays are black/white I guess or maybe blue, which I agree looks better but in the end it doesn't matter what color they are.

    Why did you not swap the motherboards.

    • @Tronicsfix
      @Tronicsfix  6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      I'd never swap the motherboard when something is so fixable. EDIT: The other motherboard was from one that wasn’t fixable

    • @JeffHundo
      @JeffHundo 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +4

      because the parts motherboard he said was for an ROG Ally, not the ROG Ally X. Slightly different if you look at the 2 boards in the video.
