Everyone is judging it based on the aerial camera view we’ve all seen on TV. Put yourself in the ref’s POV (quite literally). All he sees in front of him is 3-4 players chasing down the ball a good 30 yards in front of him. It’s gonna be tough to tell in those quick 1-2 seconds if Grealish is ahead or not.

This is what it feels like to get robbed in this manner...Man City has done LFC on countless occassions..one was when Raheem had a clean pass and the linesman called an offside for a clear onside. LFC lost that day. Man City against Leicester; kompany brought down Vardy as the last man; it was supposed to be a red since he was directly in front of goal, but the ref gave Kompany a yellow. sadly Kompany scored the lone goal and winner of that march. Karma is a bitch.
