What a coincidence! I actually cooked your parsnip soup last week with your umami seeds recipe. Except I had replaced the apples with pears: it was as delicious. And a few days ago, I cooked the polenta that was sitting in the back of my cupboard with mushrooms and kale; another one of your great recipes. Tomorrow I will bake my oatmeal like you did in this week video. It looks yummy and it's just so funny to see that I had cooked similar recipes this week 😂 THX Malin and have a lovely week!
This got me out of bed. I now have baked oatmeal cupcakes going in the oven (I’m having a friend over later and will use my other baking dish for a Vegan frittata so I’m using the cupcakes pan because I’m too lazy to wash up 😂 I hope it turns out okay). Im also eyeing my bag of polenta in the back of my pantry. This is such a great reminder to use what we have 🙏🏾 thanks!
Yes Malin! Thanks for always sharing delicious food and also, budget friendly recipes, its way too expensive nowadays. But we still wanna eat healthy and delicious. Thank you for a great video!!
If y’all need an alternative to maple that’s a bit more affordable, go ahead and make brown sugar syrup. I’ve never really measured this, I maybe make a half cup of water to just under a third cup of sugar. Just simmer together, you can store it and use for later. You can add plant based butter, I love to add extra creamy oat milk, and spice as you please. If you have happen to already have fenugreek seed powder, give it a pinch to give it a maple flavor. I know brown sugar can be a bit more expensive than white sugar, but here in the states, maple syrup is $20 for a small bottle.
Thanks Malin! I am a huge fan of topping oatmeal with yogurt too 😋 One of the accidental ways that I make a budget friendly meal is when I don’t feel like shopping. That’s when I dig in the freezer for frozen veggies and dig through the cupboard for lost grains and beans. 😆
A lovely what Malin ate in a day with budget friendly meals ( that is very helpful during times when food costs keep increasing). Love 🥰the video and love 💕❤Malin & Rob.
What a great video I really like your recipes.. What are the chances that you would make the video again that you eat breakfast in a week that you have lunch in a week And what dinner in a week... updated to what you eat at the moment thanks
I look forward to your videos each week Malin! Thank you for this budget friendly one, super helpful. I would love to see a Q&A and learn more about you.
I'm also trying to reduce my food spend so using a slow cooker to batch cook (& save on gas bill) When you said 'herbs' you've just reminded me I forgot to add bayleaves to my stew! Thank you!! 😂 Ps might regular sugar be a cheaper option than syrup in your oats? Soft brown dissolves pretty easily?
A beautiful video and gorgeous food, as always. You make plantbased eating easy and accessible to so many, especially with these budget videos. Thank you, Malin! Love from Philadelphia, USA ♥️
I'm glad to see this video. I've always watched Vegan recipe videos, but in real life; it always comes down to what I have in the fridge that has to be used before it goes bad and what's in the pantry.
Love the recipes and the focus on affordability, thanks for the upload! PS have you ever considered not using aluminum foil? From what I've read, it can leech into the food

If you want a quick fancy and filling syrup to a oat bowl, you can add a bit of coffee creamer of your choice to the brown sugar syrup.

Looks so yummy! Also I’m loving the glass tea pot! Do you have a link to it that you can share?

Great video again... thanks for the buget tips... really need it lately!
Wonderful dishes Malin, everything looks delicious. I think store cupboard and wilted veg creations are the best.
I made that soup for a Christmas dinner. It was surprising to me that you don’t really taste the apples. Very mild soup, a great meal starter!
I like that particular crispy oil. Taste so yummy!
Thanke you ! I Love the recipes .
Love these videos … what you eat in a day. Simple delicious meals. Thank you !
Your food always looks delicious and beautiful 😍

OMG!! $10.00 in the US for 12 eggs!! Crazy. Thank you for this Budget vlog.

I eat oatmeal every day. Boring. But these bars with yogurt are definitely a game changer! I can't wait to make them! 😋
I love the soup 🍲
Thank you 🥰
look yummy and healthy☺

Your home is very beautiful ❤️
I wonder if the garlic could be wrapped in banana leaf rather than foil, cause foil takes so many years to compose in Nature ?
You sound like Bernth
Friendly Malin
Love how beautiful your videos are
👌🌼👌
The garnish on the soup looks like a wreath. 🥘
Seeing whole garlic roasted in the oven always irks me. You only do that until you squeeze out that one mouldy clove you didn't see...
