      Funny thing about koalas eating eucalyptus. Their young don't have the tolerance for the poisonous eucalyptus, so they build up their tolerance by licking up their parent's fecal discharge. Other funny thing is that koalas don't have anuses; they secrete shit-like juices out their skin, in a certain area.

    • @annejeppesen160
      @annejeppesen160 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@OldNew45 the "tolerance" is bacteria to process the toxins in the eucalyptus.
      They do produce faeces, they need to get rid of the indigestible parts of the leaves (cellulose) and other waste products (eg red blood cells, the reason most animal's faeces is brown).
      Males have a patch of skin on the chest where they secrete scent

    So how was that the answer to the question "what does the world's fussiest eater eat?" The leech eats hippo blood. Eating blood doesn't make one a fussy eater. Many animals eat blood, and many animals it just blood.

    • @hagooseontheloose
      @hagooseontheloose 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but eating blood from inside a hippos backside is very niche.
