I most recently finished The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley, which I read because I enjoyed The Guest List so much. Right now I'm reading some Truman Capote (The Grass Harp and Unanswered Prayers) because I watched Capote vs. The Swans and I jumped right back onto being obsessed with him. And all the awesome actresses on that series!
the paris apartment is on my list!! thanks for sharing :)
You had me at bougie luxurious Mediterranean resort 😍
It's so good!
Lovely video Sandra! Love the book recs! I loved book lovers ❤
Thank you for watching!
There r so many books I love atm, I'm really into autobiographys I'm currently reading Agatha Christie I'm not quite finished. I also in the process of reading The London book shop affair by Louise Fein it is based on true events but liberty has been taken slightly in the writing. PS I love the Clarins lip oils, I know what u mean by original names changing :)
Thank you for sharing!! I love Agatha Christie’s books but never read her autobiography so I’ll be checking that out 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
Love Naxos. Very different elegant yet contemporary sweet. It’s definitely a little black dress fragrance for sure.
Yes!! Perfect way to describe it
When you talk about fragrances I feel like I want to try them all! I have to take time to go to my favorite fragrance and makeup store here in Belguim ( called parfuma) to buy myself a new spring and summer scent ( I have a gift card that I have to juse). My goal is to try to do this in May or june. ( I have to be on my own to do that, can't take my 6 year old with me, that is to distracting. And than I end up buying her a childrens scent and nothing for myself) But she is such a sweetie.
Monthly favorites, yay! I also loved Lessons in Chemistry (book better than TV adaptation) and all Dolly Alderton's books. For some reason, I am really into British authors lately. My current favorite is Us by David Nicholls. I first saw this on PBS then realized it was a book first. Interesting premise: a man trying to save his marriage and his relationship with his son while on a Grand Tour of Europe. The writing is so witty yet touching.
Adding it to my list!! Sounds like the perfect read for my upcoming vacation. and usually the book is better than TV/movie adaptations 😅😅
Love your channel but miss your fashion posts and Vlogs. Really love your fashion esthetic. Last book I read was The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley which is the third novel of hers I've read. I'm currently reading my second by Dan Silva,, The Kill Artist.
For surrat you are supposed to remove the sticker under the pans and then you can stick them in the case.
Ahh ok thanks for the advice!!!
Trust (Hernan Dias) is one of the best books I ever read. It’s complex and so smartly written. Hope you enjoy it.
Very excited to dive deeper into the story
Omg The seven husbands if Evelyn Hugo is the best one I’ve read this year, I highly recommend it 😊
It was great! I enjoyed that one too, very much looking forward for them to make a movie out of it
Take the stickers off the blushes to get them to stick to palette
Thank you!! now I need to memorize their names lol
Book lovers and beach read are the two best ones by Emily Henry and I am hoping her new one is in the groups well. I love how low key your goal is. I am back to school again while working and as thus my reading has slowed down but I have several on the go. The sentence by Louise Erdrich and the violin conspiracy by Brendan slocumb are the best ones I have read this year. The two fragrances I am working my way through are Burberry goddess travel spray which I love it's a lavender vanilla and Givenchy Ange ou demon le secret which is a cranberry tea scent. Both are great but only one is going to be a repurchase and keeping me from buying more. The persona sharpener has been my favourite tool and in the same boat makeup wise using up what I have - I just finished a concealer and tinted luminizer and it feels amazing.
Love this!! Thanks for sharing - can’t wait to check out those books
Loved your video, I love favourites. Some times u can't help the way your under eyes r. I've got a slight crease under my eyes and I've had that since I was 7 yrs old and now I have crow's feet 😮. I've started using Charlotte Tilbury eye cream . I love it!!!!! It is very expensive but I love it!!!!!
So true! I’m glad that you found a great product that works for you 💗
My under eye area has been a struggle lately, so I appreciate hearing about your routine Sandra. Even if the price points pain you (and me) 😂.
thank goodness for sales and rewards points 😅 they come in handy for making these more painful purchases
@@ttsandra and thank goodness the products last a long time. I’m a big fan of “cost per use” math! LOL
Need to get my hands on the MUFE 3C liner for my deep dive! Looks so good.
The formula is great!! I hope the shade works for you 🥰🥰 can’t wait for your next deep dive
Thanks for a great video. I have been reading a lot this year and maybe got a little overdone. I read Wally Lamb's book - We are Water. It was fantastic but so heavy. Then I ready Kristin Hannah's new book - The Women. Also fantastic but so so heavy. I think I need one of those light beach reads as a palette cleanser. I also got a sample set from Maison Crivelli and have been loving so many of their perfumes - French Flower, Parisian Musk and Neroli Orange are my three favs. Happy Spring to you and your family.
oof, i read wally lamb's first novel "she's come undone" a while ago and it was so heavy, i needed a break afterwards lol i bought Kristin Hannah's new book as well and was saving it to read on vacation next week! i really love her writing and storytelling, but will need something lighthearted to read afterwards :) I sampled Maison Crivelli Bois Datchai recently and it was SO interesting, i don't think it worked well with my skin chemistry throughout the day but I really appreciated its uniqueness. I need to check out French Flower and Neroli Orange next (I tried Parisian Musc and it sadly didn't work on my skin either, which i was v frustrated about since it's such a beautiful scent).
I used to adore Naxos but it smells completely different to me post Covid. All I smell is spice now. I never really thought to wear it in the spring /summer but your description makes sense
That is so interesting!! I have a friend whose sense of smell still hasn’t completely recovered since 2020 so it’s been a big adjustment for sure
@@ttsandra sometimes I wonder if scent is just subjective in general bc even before this bout with Covid, the way people would describe certain scents was completely different to how I would describe them
@@erinriley2059 it definitely is!! whenever i look up fragrances on Fragrantica and read the reviews, I sometimes find myself smelling completely different things. I think different scents react differently to our skin chemistry, too.
😊
I keep my Dieux eye gel permanently in the fridge and also their mask I store them in the fridge for maximum effect!
Need to try the Dieux gel once I finish my Clarins!
@@ttsandra they are both really nice 😘
Sandra , the link for Clarins Eye cream is wrong . 💜
Whoops! fixing it now!
How do you like the mob Beauty highlighter?
it's really pretty! the texture isn't greasy/sticky and the shade is perfect (i have M98). it looks really natural and subtle, no glitter or chunky shimmer
What are your thoughts on MOB Beauty's foundation? I really have enjoyed so many of their products, I've been curious about the foundation. The blush shade you have has been on my list for a while now. ❤❤❤
The shade they sent is a bit too dark for me right now so i haven’t been able to give it a proper test! but it’s really easy to blend and gives good coverage - reminds me a little bit of the merit foundation stick but more creamy
@@ttsandra thanks! ❤️
I love Trust - I hope you do too.
enjoying it so far :)
Sandra have you tried anything else from xerjoff?
No but I’d like to sample casamorati italica, torino21 and lira next! do you have any favorites/suggestions?
Starlight and Shunkoin are two favorites….and so unique
@@jillshorten3457 adding to my list!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
To me personally "Book Lovers" is the best book by Emily Henry. I have read all of them and they are usually nice/really nice but not like BL
ok after i filmed this i realized i had read another book by her before, "people we meet on vacation" and i didn't love it as much, Book Lovers made me laugh out loud and i loved it so much. i have her newest book in my queue so thanks for managing my expectations lol
