it appears to be my doll was produced in 2018, so they are on sale in the us for a year and apparently not available in the netherlands, i bought a red plaid long sleeved shirt to go with the jeans and i'm wondering if the vintage ken western boots are fitting on this doll, i found some nice ones in brown color.
Production date is not always the same as release date, so it could be that too. Hmm I would think so, as Ken is usually a bit bigger then barbie sized dolls. But I have never had a Ken doll, so I can't tell for sure.
i also have this cute doll dc 826 brunette . the hair is really stiff and i wish to brush it into the boy hairstyle of the 1970,s with some waves in it , do i need to wash the hair first how will the hair react on that. will i be able to brush the hair into that beautiful hairstyle, i love the jeans that came wit it the hat the pleated shorts and the sunglasses, the jeans jacket with the silver sleeves i don't know about it maybe i will turn it into a jeans vest,, i'm also looking for clothing shoes boots shirts hats resembling the country style where can i find this,, i ordered my doll from Ebay from the us,
With mine the hair got less stiff by brushing it. But with the long curls brushing is always a little more tricky, it could get frizzy. I think there's no harm in washing it, though it could loose some curl. I usually wash with some baby shampoo or a detergent. To make it less frizzy you can use some fabric softener or conditioner. But I haven't tried it on this girl, so I can't guarantee how it will come out! If you're brushing it be very gentle! I dress my dolls in Blythe clothes mainly, but it's not an exact match in size, you could try looking on etsy. Maybe there are people there who make clothes for this particular doll.
