This is not when a fortnite player plays minecraft, I made a $10,000 seed finding competition, 1,000,000 villagers simulate civilization, if minecraft was controlled by parents, if minecraft gave you advice, if minecraft was free to play or any video like that. I wish I found out about essentials mod earlier. It extends your LAN worlds so that any of your friends can join them...
@@yas_g Yup, with variants of the Log-4j exploit still circulating around the server and all. If you turn off the chat in settings and hide your base underground, it is pretty fun though… just don’t be surprised if your base gets griefed eventually.

There's a version of the game called: "stranded" that's more similar to the original if you wanna try
I love how the main appeal to skyblock is the simplicity and limited resources which is what made it so popular, and guess how most servers do it now? If you said by removing both of those factors good job, you win a pumpkin.

There was some server which was so horribly P2W:
1. You could buy items for up to 300 dollars. (for the SMP)
2. You could literally spend 100 dollars and take 80% less damage in the PvP mode

You forgot the most annoying part about woolwars. Whenever a game actually starts, as soon as a team scores everyone else leaves. It's often a 2v4 after the FIRST POINT
SMP part was really relatable, for some reasons the owner always finds a way to mess it up.
Last SMP I played he decided to give everyone owner rank to access plugin commands ? So then everyone began using /fly to build and it didn't make any more sense considering it was a build server. Part of the beauty of build servers is that you build them by hand, not flying around building a godamn 200x200 temple and 2 OP farms in 2 days.
One of my parents' friend's had his kids show him Minecraft for the first time. They practically bullied him just because they were better at the game. He hasn't played the game since.

This was basically me playing Minecraft on that one friend’s realm. He had super strict rules but he kept breaking them because according to him, he was the owner and he could do whatever he wanted
When you first joined your friend's server the dude was able to hit you while you were punching down the tree, however later when you tried punching him it said PVP was off. 💀💀

to be entirely honest the golden age of multiplayer has long since passed. and so did the golden age of singleplayer.
average server for me experience: i get all these weird pop ups, the chat goes extremely fast, i try to look for a team but then get teleport killed (or whatever its called) then finally find someone who doesnt wanna kill me and just wants to trade, and then i finally go to start finding ores but im telling you, i travelled so far just to see no ore in sight, i was curious if there even were ores and i set my render distance to 32 and turned xray on and there were only 2 diamonds scattered in that whole area

The amount of hoops you have to jump through with Java is insane but at least you can openly mod it. Bedrock you can mod but it's only stuff from the market which doesn't really count.
I don't get the people who go all "java is better!!!!!" or same for bedrock. Saying Java is better is basically admitting you don't have friends who'll play and for Bedrock it's just saying you don't have the patience to figure stuff out for Java. Both of those have exceptions but they get my point across, they're both better at different things.

I've been playing Java for about 7-8 years now, Bedrock for about 5. I'm very familiar with how both of them work. The point is that it doesn't exist as a part of the base game itself and you have to modify or in some other way go through a lengthy process to do so.

I play Minecraft with my friends and there was so much chaos that i built a secret base inside a cave and then everyone came there stole my diamonds so i built a secret basement with a secret Minecart chest but then someone saw it and then everyone was there AGAIN. I BUILT A NORMAL FARM WITH A SIGN SAYING: DO NOT DESTROY. And you probably know what happened. They broke the farm.. hours spent building redstone and getting water... Gone.. it got so bad that we had to get rules.
Since I lost a dog irl, him I felt that when bro killed that minecraft dog in this video

oh and being the guy he is, he decided that it was everyone elses fault for not helping him and that they should rebuild his house and get his items back (and yes, somehow he died in the house fire even with full diamond gear with an easy exit)

I got banned on a server for trying to complete a quest where I had to place flowers, so I took ONE FLOWER from someone's base and destroyed it a bunch, and at the end I placed it back and I got banned.
The part with the Loverfella server is not editing. They do actually try to sell you $300 ranks. And because of that, some people destroyed the server's economy with duplication glitches.
I find claims stupid because they are easily abused by claiming mass amounts of land and claiming land with trees when there is no other trees for thousands of blocks. If there was a limit on claiming and you couldn’t claim in a certain radius from spawn that would be fine.

I agree with this vid, servers are infested with tryhards and hackers, (and setting up a server is very hard for the non-tech savvy person). Also P2W (pay to win) is just terrible.
Port forwarding and using your own IP mainly, so not a reasonable thing to do with randoms or people you aren't close to.
I've done modded servers with friends, they were fun but pain for everyone.
