Fun fact: Mario veteran Charles Martinet is a big Luigi x Daisy shipper. I hope she makes appearance in the sequel since fans adore the shy guy and tomboy princess dynamic.

You guys sound like what the movie versions would have been. Especially the person who voiced Luigi! He sounded like a mix of Charlie Day and His Super Show version!

A little bit of a plothole. Peach has never met another human in the movie universe before Mario, so she'd be meeting Daisy for the first time.
Maybe the same thing that happened to Peach happened to Daisy: She entered Sarasaland through the warp pipe as a baby, was found by the people of Sarasaland, got raised by them, and became their princess.
@@user-fy9wc5lw2w That doesn't fix the plothole of this comic. The movie established that Peach NEVER met another human before meeting Mario. So her already knowing Daisy contradicts this.
Also, if Daisy had the same backstory, it'd be rather repetitive. I'd like something different for her.

@@mariobroultimate1808 She does not remember her life before entering the MK, so she most likely did know other humans, but forgot. Daisy could be one of her childhood friends/cousins who wandered into the pipes with her, but they were separated and forgot about each other. Anyway, it's possible for Peach to know Daisy w/o a plot hole.

I don't want to criticize but the comic makes no sense, the Mushroom Kingdom from the Movie had no allies and Mario was the first human Peach met.
That is true, it could be a different kingdom and they meet for the first time and become Best friends throughput the course of the sequel
I hate his dark tan, I hope they don't change the design he had in Smash Ultimate and Super Mario Party
