Does anyone know where to get the viewer? Or even what to search to find one? I tried "ghost viewer" "13 ghost ghost viewer" "william castle ghost viewer" and a few other variations...

This is the the way it stated in sleeve cover. I have movie but didn't watch yet
I just seen this flick last week and got a kick out of margret hamilton as she also played the witch in wizard of oz and that lil kid also called her THE WITCH in this flick, elane are you really a witch, her re, ask me no questions and i will tell you no lies, Margret was perfect for this flick.... that attorney also played on adam 12 as a cop.
Now that I see the William Castle viewer.... top is solid red,bottom is solid blue... View thru RED---ONLY Ghosts View thru BLUE---ONLY People (REMOVES Ghosts)
Viewer was NOT exactly like 3D anagylph. Think it was left-eye RED;right-eye split-level red-and-blue viewer. If ghost image was blue,then viewing thru red blocked it out. People printed as red on the screen at least came through the left-eye view. The right eye was the one which was variable. Great gimmick... Jo Morrow,actress from my native Texas... think she's still alive...didn't she do "20 Mule Team (Borax soap) commercials?
i saw the original 13 Ghosts and it was far scarier than the awful remake. More suspense. And, no, you can't just get red and blue cellophane and put them over each eye and expect to see the ghosts-tthe Ghost viewers are NOT 3D glasses-they won't work-in order to see the ghosts you need to look just through the RED cellophane only-to not see them at all you look through the BLUE only.
I would love to go back in time and experience one of his films in the theaters. William has a real knack for showmanship.

You can get it from Amazon. Region 1 only so you need to have a multi region player if not from the US.

great movie - too bad it was remade - would love to see clips of the original on here. it's such a classic.. thank you for sharing this.
