- I'm a little late to the Helluva Boss hype, but I wanted to share a 'duet' I made by editing my personal favorite parts from each version of this wonderful song.

I wish this had the harmonization of the "I long to hear your voice" that playing them side by side gives
I do too...
I did try it at first to keep them together, but then I found the transition into the new lyrics a lil difficult to make smooth. I'm still learning, after all!
So for the sake of making the music flow, I did cut it down to just Pinkham's lines at that part.

Except unlike Stolas and Octavia, Belos and Caleb were a LOT more simple in terms of right and wrong. So we don't feel as bad when Caleb decides to go with Evelyn instead of staying where he's miserable. #Octavia&Stolasarebothright

Why????? It looks like Stolas doesn't need Octavia anymore in life..
Because the song is about him and blitz, also it gives a little lore
And also, I think the og song talked about stella, since it came out before the serie so no one knew what kind of person she was, they only knew he cheat on her

Oh my god, such an amazing duet! I love it!
While I was listenign to this, i couldn´t help but imagina Stolas singing the Paranoid Dj´s version of this song as if it were his past self, since it still refers to Blitz as a "Plaything", and Pinkham´s version would be the future Stolas, watching his old self suffering because of his complex feelings for Blitz, it all started as a trade and he ended up in love, and so, the future Stolas would regret ever calling Blitz a plaything or treat him as an inferior unconsiously, now making sense with the verse "I don´t care you´re lower station" instead of just being a hypocrite, senseless line. Same with the Octavia phrase, on Paranoid Dj´s version he mentions her, but she really has nothing to do with his own trouble with Blitz, and so, with the passing of time, he would realise the only ones who are guilty about all that happened were them: Stolas and Blitz. And imagining Past Stolas and Future Stolas doing a duet and even with different perspectives have one same purpose (Which is being loved by Blitz) it really makes my heart break a little, because it means the Stolas from the past didn´t acomplished his goal and leaded to a depressed future Stolas. Also it would make the character development better than just making Stolas fall in love in Blitz in a blink.
