This season proved to all the blind steroid haters that Arod was the real deal. clean, 38-39 years old, and cracking 30+ dingers proof that you don't just put a needle in your arm or take a magic pill and do what this man did for 22 years. GOAT.
@@elijahpfeifer6811 he’s the Barry bonds of the infield, u can look at him as a villain all u want and talk down on his name all u want but he’s immortalized in baseball history as one of the greatest to ever play the game or ever step in a batters box
I went from A-Rod being my favorite active player, to not being a fan of his at all from the way the steroid mess was handled by him! then gaining an all new respect for how he humbled himself and came back and played when he could have easily retired, and was never heard from or seen again. I thought he took his lumps and came out of it pretty good, and I even like his game commentary now. It couldn’t have been easy to come back when the world hated him the way they(rightfully) did. And love him or hate him, he’s one of the all time great players!
PED can give you an edge on the power, but don't give you plate discipline, contact, or a better fielding glove, he used it in a time when everyone was doing it, but he was the best of all of the MLB in a long time, I think a lot of years must go by to find a baseball player like he was.
Idk if we’ll ever see another arod just like idk if we’ll ever see another Barry bonds. Arod was an elite fielder at shortstops and third base and and one of the greatest hitters to ever step in a batters box. Closest thing I’ve seen is Tatis hitting wise but his fielding definitely not on par
Esa fue una buena temporada a pesar de todos los conflictos que tuvo en la temporada anteriores y los problemas con las sustancias prohibida.este caballero es un excelente pelotero
Arod will always be remembered for being one of the best to play the game. The steroid incident will always carry with him but no doubt he made it look easy numerous times. Excluding the 2009 postseason lol
One of my favorite seasons from him after everything he still was able to rake

And yet he still did it. Than lied about it, got caught, apologized, than went right back to doing it again. No respect for that. Not a goat.
@@elijahpfeifer6811 Ratio then
He was using here. You don't use steroids since age 16 the suddenly play clean.
@@mickeymouseofficiaI I hope you’ve had a year to think about how lame “ratio then” was.

My favorite player all time, love this guy❤️
Miss you Alex Rodriguez. Best wishes for you.
I miss him.
MLB era más interesante (a todos lo comparaban con él)
This makes me miss the old Yankees like Arod, Jeter, Mo, Andy, and Tex
"...the old Yankees..." Lol
Yankees took a rod for granted truly. 40 years old putting up these numbers? Much love to alex

Alex is the best
zack hample catches ARODS 3000 home run.
If the league never suspended him like they did to Bonds he would of Broked bonds record
definitely.
absolutely
Seems like Gardner scored a TON in this video
😂🤣😂🤣👍👍
This was his best year of his career for sure.
Do a copilation of him hitting grands slams or hitting hr to opposite Field
Sería bueno
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🇩🇴🇩🇴
I wan’t a 99 AROD card on MLB the show21
Coming soon ;)
What song is that at the end of the video???
'What song' is right . A clown babbling gibberish over some horrendously soulless, computer generated backing trac now qualifies as a "song".
@@manofiske3318 pero que agresivo 🔥🔥😂🤣😂
Wow 2:42 was smashed
Arod destroyed Tampa Bay that year
