    Curious that Canton MA police are involved in 2 high profile scenarios..one for cop death and the other for nefarious acts against a minor..trying to pin her death as suicide.. look further into the players here...

      @@troll-fx2zcnot trying it. Medical examiners all around: from state to FBI all agreed it was ruled undetermined. Very conflicting Information when you compare the state to the federal government. It’s weakened public trust for sure. It’s also caused a lot of division and pain for a lot of ppl. I feel a lot of empathy for O’Keefes family and for Karen-how the public reacts is beyond the scope of what any of them can truly influence and or control.

    What could be so hard to understand? Lots of evidence and very little hours put in; however the expert accident reconstructors, who the Justice Department brought in to testify, stated the injuries to Mr. OKeefes body was not consistent with being hit by a car, or vehicle. They stated there also was no bruising anywhere on his body that surely would indicate being hit by a car. C’ mon! You can’t make a decision, which is reasonable doubt, that’s the call! Not guilty.

      I YuTube keeps deleting my reply!! It says a “ Katie McLaughlin first responder on the scene that day, testified hearing Read say to a friend: "I hit him." And Timothy Nuttall, a paramedic, treated O'Keefe. "Iheard: “I hit him, I hit him,'" Nuttall said.

    Very sad because i have a feeling this man will not see justice as he should. I am of the unpopular opinion that she is guilty but at the end of the day, any reasonable doubt and it's a hung jury or not guilty.

      She's innocent. There is video of her car driving away with no visible damage and her light was intact. FBI analyst testified his injuries are not consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

    The Prosecution didn't prove their case, other than everyone was either drinking or drunk. I don't know what happened, and neither do they. There is reasonable doubt throughout. Not Guilty.

    What if she's found not guilty does that mean they can then go after the trooper who falsified evidence and time logs for perjury and the multiple other charges he should face since he knowingly altered evidence and time logs and then go after him in civil court

    I heard Jessica Machado make such an unprofessional comment about Karen, “every guy I know thinks Karen is a 10.” Really? This is not what it’s about. Btw, Karen is innocent and she’s not a 10. If she were black and overweight, would you care to help her? Probably not, which is horrible.

      @@ethanweeter2732 I'm looking at her size and his size and there's just no way she could beat him to death. If he had been hit by her SUV, there should have been a lot of lower body damage. There's something very wrong here. And as my stepfather cop always told us, 'never take the word of a cop for any reason because they will lie, especially if they have to make a case.' What was the relationship between the victim and the other cop? Did anyone ask or investigate that?

      @@ethanweeter2732- No, they just need to prove the car did not touch JO. Also they may have evidence on the contrary (I’ve heard / seen every sitting of the trial). If there is a probable alternative (no one has to say what exactly), then KR is found not guilty.
      I feel for Karen Read. 2+ years of trauma & essentially her life on hold. John O’Keefe’s family living in trauma of losing a loved one.
      I can’t get over the fact, that after all the public has heard and seen from this case, why JO’s family are not enraged by Canton police, State police and the Alberts & McCabes.
      Additionally - which juror is going to remember 8 weeks of trial. Why have a stenographer, if you won’t give a copy of the witnesses answers to the jury? If they made notes, and what was put in evidence is all they get. What a farce.

    Anybody that doesn't take the stand during your own murder trial in my opinion absolutely guilty and I was on the jury I would find guilty nobody in the right mind would just idly set by

      Fortunately, you are not a juror with your unfounded bias.
      Taking the stand, or not taking it, has no correlation with one's guilt. And it can not be held against the suspect.
      Jurors are supposed to make their decisions based on the evidence only, not on their predetermined unlawful biases.

The point is our system of justice is designed to attempt to overcome such otherwise normal and natural and unavoidable prejudicial tendencies when it comes to delivering a verdict. Which it does as well as one could expect, for the most part.
