I think there's still a lot of tricky play in regular Escape, so I thought this was cool to see. Obviously the Brok Ironfist Challenge (TM) is the true connoisseur's way to win, but this was good too. One minor correction, by the way (which in no way affected the result), is that you should have raised your threat by 2 more at the end of the round because of the Dungeon Torch (44:30).
As far as the Gildor/Iron Shackles interaction goes, I honestly think you could have chosen to bring it into your hand. "Switch" is not the same as "draw," in my opinion. But I also haven't researched an Errata on that lol. It didn't matter anyhow!

At least this kind of quest provide a challenge.. Other your playthrough such boring. shorter: i draw millions card in my hand ✋ and Encounter desk still play card per turn. this game have serious flaws i stop yo play it long time ago. i suggest you Spirit Island very cool solo game and provide good challenge. in lotr you play game forv2 hours which you cannot lose in SI you necr know you wilmn or lose until the last turn

Spirit island is a great game yes! One of my top ones. Other games I particularly love solo are Mage Knight, Anachrony, Gaia Project, Cloudspire, and Dune Imperium. Tried any of them?

And I would actually say Spirit Island can be much much easier or much much harder than LOTR LCG based on the scenario, level and spirit combination (one of its strengths). LOTR LCG has easy quests and very hard quests with no way to adjust difficulty (there is actually an easy mode where you remove some cards but I don’t play that way). I only post wins, but believe me I lose a lot before I figure out how to actually win against these quests. I think it’s a very challenging and rewarding puzzle with a theme I love.

And omg are you the Glaurung that used to post on FFG website that Cardboard of the Rings used to refer to on their podcast? If so, that’s crazy and cool!
