This is great, we just dragged a finished cherry vanity side around on a forgotten screw that was on the bench and gouged it up good. We don’t have access to a vacuum bag set up but this gave me tons of good pointers anyway.
I love the fact that you’re still sequence matching these panels although 75%ish is being cut out. Also do you store the unused glue in that gallon for future use? Or is the shelf life too short and it’s more one and done process.
Thanks for sharing, wish I had seen this video a few years ago! How long do you leave a glue up like this in the press? And how long before you would work it after taking it out? This is similar to how I do veneers, tried the two part glue but it is very annoying to mix imo. Counting down the days until our current bag dies (the 20mil poly seems to last forever) then I can get one with a zipper! I have to try some different foam rollers, not had good luck so far...
Curious how thick is real wood layer on the veneers you buy? I have been having an awful experience with veneered particle core I buy from my supplier that appears to be something like 1/30 of an inch in thickness.
appreciate this vid a lot!!! good job NS Builders!
I’ve installed a similar paper backed veneer as wall covering, amazingly gorgeous materials
You made it look easy, nicely done!
Color me curious about edge banding all these holes. Looking forward to the next Revealed :) !

You can't buy 4x8 sheets of ply already veneered that are sequenced?
Yes you can I wonder why go through this
I would assume it's for expansion and contraction? Just guessing.
Where do you buy your vacuum bag system from . Thanks karlos
