- This was done with prism and other tools that changed his depth perception, which then improved balance. Vision therapy then improved how he processed depth and space, dramatically changing his quality of life.
So happy for him, thank God for the knowledge he has given people in your profession.❤
He is doing so much better!
That's incredible. Why have i never seen this in my 20 years of nursing? This is amazing
Its incredible
Amazing!
I have MS and so balance and walking issues are a daily problem I'm wondering if you can give me some more specific information so I can speak to my neurologist about it
I have MS too. I’ve had balance issues too. Definitely talk to your neurologist, because your balance problems may not be MS. Consider having your eyes checked with an ophthalmologist. Physical therapy can also help with balance. There are several techniques to improve your balance. Finally, it might be your inner ear. An otolaryngologist can help. Somehow I had one of the crystals in my inner ear move. I saw an otolaryngologist and the fix took 5 minutes. I hope this helps. Take care
@maryford2761 thank you so much! I actually do go to a neuro ophthalmologist but I will also check with an otolaryngologist because I have always had issues with my ears. I can feel my nystagmus though getting more significant and obviously that plays right into my balance but thank you again!!
What if it's vestibular and vision and hearing? Prisms made it worse for me.
I have post concussion syndrom & have these problem. But I dont live anywhere near your office. Can you give me a referral in my area in The DFW Texas area?
PrAise God!
Nope. Praise the Medical profession 🎉
Hello, what is this type of treatment call?
It’s part of vision therapy. Using prisms to change depth perception.
@opto-mization
Could it help someone who knows that they have a problem with depth perception but has mono vision.
I use one eye at a time. Right one for far, left one for near.
I also only hear out of my Rt. ear. I
@@jksmith818so do you close the eye you are not using at that point?
