Thank you for this. I've isolated for so many years from so many who have tried to help, didn't want to drag them down. But I rarely thought, how much my suffering and the lack of my presence would affect them. I've really been roosting on it lately and the chorus, my god the chorus. They just want to help and I find any excuse to say it's better if I'm alone. It's clear from the lyrics you've struggled with some form of this as well. Perhaps the drive to become talented musicians caused you to isolate till you were proud enough of your craft. Or perhaps you've had some in your lives that didn't want to stop your climb to success with their woes. Regardless of the reason...just...thanks for recognizing the depths depression can take us.
Once you make this realization, it changes a little bit for the better in my opinion. The darkness will always be there no matter what, you just gotta remember to rekindle the flame from time to time.

"This is not their best" i thought my first time hearing it without really paying too much attention while listening. Second time i paid attention to the lyrics a little and i was like "ok this is not bad" but the third time i think i fell in love. Its different than their usual but there's definitely appeal. A good 7.5 out of 10. Just my 2 cents.
