My favorite way to wear linear holos is with a scattered holo topper over them. I love the contrasting holo pigment size and the extra pizazz the topper offers. Even better if a formula already has both incorporated into it!!
My first holo was a Sally Hanson Prisms, lavender in 1990-something and I was a hologirl from then on. I lived through the lean years of little to no holos and still have that bottle of SH that I used so sparingly. I'm 53 and I'll never stop wearing holos. These are all amazing.
Ooh I'd love to know from someone who was in the nail polish scene at the time - when did holo stop and how long before it came back?? I remember the first holo polish I ever saw was in 2013ish and it was all the rage but I know it had its moment before then lol!
That Sally Hansen was late 90s, then early 00s OPI started their Designer Series DS polishes which had a few holo. Really only a handful of holos available. Then nothing unless you were lucky and found one of OPIs DS. Late 00s had China Glaze's first OMG collection and I grabbed those up. Then soon after I discovered a-England and immediately paid the bucks when they still shipped here to the US, for the gorgeous teal St. George. Besides them, the indie and franken makers were all buying up Spectraflair powder from automotive and commercial painting vendors and the controversy was whether we should even be using it cosmetically. These makers were all still fairly small and selling mainly on Etsy. I've always been a Zoya fan and their first scattered holos came out holiday 2012, Blaze red, Aurora purple, Storm black and a bar holo glitter topper called Electra. That's when they started to gradually started to come back in numbers. Even when Simply started her channel, holos were not that easy to find outside the indie world. I do credit her channel with making "holo" more of a household name in the polish world, but youtube itself and Pinterest really helped me find them the most. I'm sure I'm missing some of the lore and people with inside knowledge feel free to correct me. I hope you are doing well health wise. I have some lovely chronic problems, and pain as well and I am always impressed with how hard you work. I completely forget that I'm old enough to be your mom sometimes, but then other times, I'm proud of you just like a mom would be. You Rock!
OMG I also was introduced to holos in the 90's with that same Lavender SH polish! I actually still have it, a drop or 2 of thinner every few years has kept it in great shape and I still wear it now and then ❤️ I got heavily into nail polish around 2008 or 2009. The Joe Polish black Jelly Flakie called Twilight stands out in my memories, along with Cult Nails Unicorn Puke, Clarins Unicorn Pee before that... Nfu Oh flakies in 2010, OPI DS series... And when Finger Paints came out with their flakies collection, I was in heaven! 2011's Essie Shine of the times, and then Sally Hansen's dupe called Hidden Treasure... The magnetics, the first crackles, more holo, the countless interesting jellies with all the different glitter combos from indies... I really got into Konad stamping probably around 2011 or 2012, and then the cheaper bundles of plates that we could get off Amazon or eBay, although the quality was pretty iffy. The Color Club Holo collection around 2013, omg, I was in heaven because I could get holos from a mainstream brand, and I think China Glaze did a collection a little later. Anyway, sorry about the trip down memory lane. I think I just discovered your blog around 2013-2014 or so because of nail art, and then found you on TH-cam probably around 2019-2020? In any case, I still love my nail polish, some of which date back to the 90's (thank god for Helmers to keep the collection out of the Sun and thinner from Sally's to keep the old polishes in great condition!). You are the only nail polish Channel that I still follow because you feel like an old friend and I enjoy seeing you live your life ❤️
@@Watery_Tartyou’re bringing out all the ones I remember too! I feel the biggest was the OPI DS and I’m so sad I wasn’t more sparing with them since I now buy them on eBay at outrageous prices but the nostalgia drives me. Kelli is younger than my daughter so I feel your age comments! I feel so old on the nail community pages but sometimes it just more experience in a different way!! Thanks for the nostalgic post on holos!! 😅
Holo Taco's lost in the woods is one of my favourite holos. I love a green polish, and it's such a gorgeous shade of green! From Color Club, I really like the shade under pressure from the halo jewels collection, and the shade bewitched. They're both really stunning purples, I can't get enough of them!
I love Lost in the Woods, can hardly wait to get my hands on it! Unfortunately it's not high on my list of stuff to buy because I know I wouldn't actually wear it, I just want to be able to look at it in the bottle on my desk, cuz I'm a rainbow-holic (no, not depictions of rainbows, actual optical separation of light wavelengths). I used to wear variations of holo glitter polish, but lately I haven't been able to get around to doing manis, so I've been relying on my crystals and niji cube a lot lately for my rainbow fix 🥺
The LA Colors polishes, as a whole, are EXTREMELY under-rated. Considering that they are anywhere from half to a quarter of the price of the rest of the polishes out there? They consistently knock it out of the park. I've purchased their cremes, and specialty finishes, and haven't been disappointed yet. (I'm surprised, pleasantly, on how many of these I have in my personal collection)
Agreed, I am pretty consistently impressed with them! I do find some of their cremes to be on the sheer side but overall they are absolutely more than worth the price!
At $2 it’s even less than a quarter of the price for most brands lol. I agree LA colors makes some really nice polishes and I loved the holo diamond crush line and own each color
I own a lot of them too. A few months ago the brand did a run of glitter jellies and color shifting toppers at Walmart, they were all gone after a few days. Every time I see a new collection from the brand, I buy a few. I never regret it, they're fantastic and a lot of them can be hard to find online.
I live for the annual "favorites" videos 😂 As far as holo polishes go, I've always been drawn to the deep blue linear holos...but WOW that Keep Off The Grass was STUNNING
@@KelliMarissa Color Cue had one out several years ago but I don't remember the name, I got it at Walmart. And yes LA Colors is killing it in the holo department!
Linear holos are my absolute favorites. They're dressed up enough that you don't need extra BUT I'd you want extra you can go ham and it'll still look good. Crushed holo formulas are a suuuuuper close 2nd.
Yes! I only really buy HT as well and was flabbergasted to see that Rainbow Snow didnt make the list 😳 It's the most slivery Holo in my opinion lol If I don't buy HT then it's L.A Colors because Its hella lot cheaper yet still good and I save money somewhere lol
My go-to for holo polishes has always been Color Club. I really think their linear holo formula is the most holographic I've ever seen. Another favorite of mine is China Glaze's She's So Extra Terrestrial. It's such a beautiful one-coat teal colored holo polish.
I'm so glad you added all the different colors besides the "basic" holos. I appreciate the regular holos...but those dark blues, purples, reds, and blacks were GORGEOUS!!!! WOWZERS!!! 😍 I even liked the "Keep Off the Grass"! As for holo type preference...🤔 anything that really sparkles! 🌟
I’m a big time holosexual!! I love linear, scattered, and scattered over linear! I became obsessed with holographic polishes years ago when OPI came out with the designer series. They were kinda hit or miss for a few years so I settled into creams and frosted polishes for a bit but once Holographic Taco launched in 2019 I went holo crazy!! 🤪 I’ve been a sparkle clothes lover for years and matching my nails to my clothes was a no brainer! The ability to put a holo topper over ANY polish was life changing for me! I’m a very quiet reserved person but my nails speak volumes!! 😂. I have every Holo Taco product ever released and it has made me into a hoarder. I have more bottles of nail polish that I will ever be able to wear but I can’t stop! I never really watch Cristine but I love her polishes. I’m just glad Kelli doesn’t have her own brand or I would be in even more trouble! I have every collab polish I can get my hands on and if they’re not holo, I can fix that! lol jk 😂. 😅❤💅
We definitely need to fatten up your green holo faves!!! My absolute forever fave is Lost in the woods, a deep dark green. Then they have Green taffy for a true green and Full charge for a lime green holo. They also had a gorgeous magenta purple glotter Plumb luck but that one is unfortunately retired 😢 As far as my all time fave summer holo, it is this gorgeous blue holo from ILNP called Serenity. I must wear it at least once every summer!
You chose some great ones. I love Lighthouse and Serenity from ILNP as well. Holo Taco is just stunning. KB Shimmer... oh gosh the list is endless. I will say that topcoat to me makes Holo appear brighter. It makes that Holo sparkle just dance. Holo doesn't have to be gel. I remember first seeing holo polish and being heartbroken that it was gel only. Then there were holo topcoats. Then brands like ILNP and Holo Taco made my sparkly dreams come true. When I got my first holo, my life changed for the better. I so enjoyed this video. ❤❤
did my nails right before i fired this up and don't you know it's starrily crypt! yaaaas! with an accent nail ofc - this time your glorious *fractal* 🖤i meeeeean 🖤this holo selection is tremendous. especially delighted to see A england's goth - just found it recently after a long search. also shoutout for mina, dracula and if you EVER find it: *pallas* - right up there with crypt - a stunning grey linear holo. just so good. all of it. holos changed my world. made it better 😻thank you K 🙌🙏
I don’t know how I’ve been into nail polish for my whole life but never owned a true silver holo polish. I remember when CG “OMG” was impossible to get your hands on, as well as the OPI DS collection. I own a CG holo I actually found at dollar tree, but it’s a little too muted for me so I’m excited to have some new polishes to try :)
Oh gosh I remember back in the day when that brand Layla made a holo polish and everyone was desperate to get their hands on it haha! I drove 45 minutes to get to a store that carried it lol
Omg I would love that! Although tbh I'd just love to see them do a new collection for each season haha, I'm glad to see they're starting to release more now!!
Kelli, it always makes my matchy matchy heart happy that you dress the part in your videos. Ha ha I own some of these holos, but I need more! I really love that chartreuse. I am a sucker for those "ugly" greens, or any green. I also love that you included LA Colors. I feel like a lot of people ignore the "cheap" brands and they're missing out. I don't discriminate when it comes to nail polish. I love it all! 😂 LA Colors is pretty amazing for how inexpensive it is. I live for coffee, but my daily coffee is just a cup of hot black coffee, year round, even when it's 100 degrees here. I LOVE ice coffee too, but it's more like a treat for me, but I will also drink that any time of year. It's just not a daily thing like my hot coffee, but I do have a coffee/protein smoothie for breakfast every morning. So I have it, and my hot coffee. So I guess that counts as iced. Lol
Ooooh, these are beautiful! Rhysand is so pretty, and that Apple Sangria! Thanks for doing this one-it really helped me understand the difference between linear and scattered! Now I know what I'm talking about, lol!
I bought the whole LA Colors Diamond Crush line back when it came out, thanks to your review. And I mean "thanks", because, oh my gosh, I love them all! Also, my coffee order is everything you don't like! I love a hot peppermint mocha. 😂
Yessss truly an underrated collection from an incredibly priced brand!! And lol! I love finding people with my opposite food/drink taste because it means we never have to share 🤣🤣
@lideabarker8161 I bought the collection from hb beauty bar online! there's always a discount code which brings the price to $2+ instead of $3, super great deal.
I got a few holos before I realized that I'm not really a holo person. 😅 That being said I have Cirque's Garnet which I'm about to wear & it's holo. How is your recovery going?
@@KelliMarissaI understand, I'm about the same! We're going to go ride around in the car tomorrow. That's probably going to be all the "exercise" I can handle 😅
Gah 😍😍😍 stunning swatches. I have several vintage Enchanted Polish holos, and a few old A England ones - Briar Rose and Dancing With Nureyev. I love them and they are just like new and a pleasure to apply to this day. And ILNP is just amazing. Wish I had more! They’re hard to come by in Canada. Nail Polish Canada used to carry them, and they are no longer in business, sadly.
Harlow & Co is ILNP's Canadian stockist. I've ordered from them a few times. If there's something you want that's out of stock, you can order it when they open pre-orders for every collection launch.
For ultimate big sparkle I like Holo taco’s non linear formula with multiple sized holographic pieces my favorite is “everything is pine” it’s green, but only available seasonally around Christmas. Others avalable on a REGULAR basis are “frost light” light blue “rainbow snow” silver “midnight spark” dark blue “play rose” pinky beige “menchie the cat” pale violet “zyler the cat” orange “starry-eyed” dark teal. These listed are jam packed with holo. There are other non linear formulas like “midnight owl” that still have a good amount of holo but not as much. They are combined with other effects. BTW what they look like in the bottle is how they will look on your nails. I like that.
Love the colors in your blouse. Beautiful. I never did fine where to find AEngland here in US. The company you recommended only had a few colors. Good video. I enjoyed you favorites. ILNP Mega X has been one of mine for years now. I guess.ILNP has been my favorite company for awhile now. Always try to remember to give you a thumbs up. You do a great job showing my obsession.
I actually had all those LA Colors from $ General. I regret I got rid of them. They were so hard to get off. I placed my first order with Painted Polish after watching your video. Had to have that purple. It was gorgeous. Found a few more too. Stargazer is still on my wish list. Thanks Kelli for all your video's. Hope you're doing OK and having a good New Year❤
Ooh yeah glitter can be such a pain to remove haha I totally understand!! Don't regret it - honestly if it's frustrating to take off, you probably would never reach for them anyway and they'd just take up space!! Things are going well, thank you so much ❤️❤️
Ow such a great video! Many thanks, very inspiring since I haven’t seen some of them! My first holo is CdC silver cloud martini and my favourite of all time is Essie Gorgeous Geodes… just a really quick drying polish, one coat needed and compliments my skin tone very well. I have a lot of holo taco as well, they are always quite creative with their holos and they have a holo for every mood 😊
I was surprised there was only one green in the list! One of my favorites is ILNP's 1Up - such a soft, springy green with a scattered holo. I also really like their Color Kissed Ultra Holo After Dark collection, especially Level Up. My favorite winter coffee is Wawa's pumpkin spice. Every fall I buy a bunch of bags of it so I can drink it all year long! I also like their caramel coffee which is their current seasonal flavor.
My preference is the linear holos, love those lines of rainbow! Absolutely love ILNP mega S, it's so so pretty and I can't stop looking at my nails when I'm wearing it. Pretty sure I got it on the basis of one of your swatch reviews 🤩Same with Candyman from Superchic, it's a really flattering gunmetal colour, very holographic with a hint of something warm and pink-ish too. Quite hard to describe but so beautiful (I think). Also love the A England formula, really lovely to put on, I think buttery was the word you used! 👌
I'm newer to polish, but think I prefer the scattered holo . You gave me a few to add to wish lists. I've seen the still pics say on ilnp website, but the look different, not as beautiful , as seeing in video. I really enjoy your content. Thank you. I hope your recovery is going smoothly
I love both linear and scattered holos if i want an intense sparkle I'll go for a linear holo but if i want a more subtle or soft look I'll go for a scattered holo i tend to like both there both different but both really beautiful
Funny, I brought a linear holo deep gray from Ever After called I Feel A Sin Coming On. I am more a scattered girl, but I love when it has a bit of all 3 (linear, scattered, flakie), which isn't very common. Coffee - either cold or hot and some creamer, 2 packets stevia, and usually some flavor syrup. I usually drink my first coffee hot and decide later on the 2nd coffee. I love on occasion stopping at Dunkin. BUT that is not very often.
Two of my favorites are She’s So Extra-terrestrial from China Glaze and Full Charge from Holo Taco. I also have the LA Colors Diamond Crush line but I’ve forgotten how much I love them! Regarding coffee… yes, please. All the coffee, hot or cold, anything but pumpkin spice. ☕️☕️☕️😁
Girl! I am feeling that teal vibe and A England, you've made me an addict. 😉😂 Have you tried the Mooncat's holos yet? If not you should, their holos are some of the best in my collection. I love linear holo, it's perfection in my eyes.
Awesome compilation. Can never have enough holo! Found some additional gems to add to my wishlist. Oh crimson void is a gorgeous color. The problem with it is it is way to close to dead petals from the same collection. Both of those colors needed tweaking to be more different.
I know a handful of others that feel the same. Messes with the dark linear skittle as the two look the same when on nails next to each other. I love kb shimmer sip back and relax as a replacement for crimson void. Dead petals feels where most of color problem is. Mixing electrostatic with magenta jelly is better
I can’t say which I prefer at the moment because I just bought my first linear holo from NOL and I absolutely l it. I do like both but now I’m just intrigued and catch myself looking for more linear. Haha As for coffee, I like iced in the summer only. I actually just made myself a cup of French vanilla but I love caramel and hazelnut also. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy seeing your faves!
I started reading A Court of Thorns and Roses because of your review of Rhysand during your favorite Black holos video. Great books! And I would buy this polish for the name 😂
My all time favourite holo is Painted polish Drunk on Holo, it is so shiny! I love ice coffee in winter too, although the cold doesn't always allow me to properly enjoy it 😅
Color Club still has my linear holo heart - i got most their colors for $5 one summer and they are opaque enough for stamping and other nail art. i also love Cupcake and UberChic’s linear holo formulas. for scattered holo, there’s this jelly finish from Emily de Molly with larger holo hex glitters, but they’re so shiny and so packed, it almost looks linear. iced coffee all the way. i’m in new england, and still get my coffee iced all winter - with caramel when the pumpkin runs out for the season.
My all time favorite holo is holo taco Rainbow snow! The different size glitters just smack you in the face! It's so bright and sparkly. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
I have too many faves I'm not as crazy as you with my polish collection but I'm at 2,000+bottles at this point lol😂and I will be here forever but I am obsessed with Starrilys double holo formula, Holo Taco has really great ones, Cirques holo jellies with their scattered holo and that collab you did with them with that new formula I absolutely love
@@KelliMarissa haha! I used to drink iced almost all year round and hot some too in winter, but now I get so cold I want it hot! But I still want my water ice cold! 😂🤦🏼♀️ hot or cold coffee is always good! 😊
First just wanted to say hope you are feeling well. I just got six new ILNP and I did get cookie cutter and spiced cider, joy, day break, high roller and blowing bubbles love all of them I put on spiced cider today just beautiful ❤❤
Great choices! I only have 3 of them (Starrily Norepinephrine, ILNP Mega X and Skyline) but they're some of my favourites, too. I had a fun time spotting all of the familiar shades from your swatches and favourites videos over the years :P I'm the opposite way with coffee from you, haha. I only drink it warm/hot, and I love adding chocolate (and peppermint chocolate) to coffee! I completely agree that black coffee is an occasional summer drink, but it needs cream in the winter. Not entirely sure why, maybe it's the comfort or just that this time of the year is so full of other rich foods and drinks that I get used to sweeter things! Never thought much about it. Thanks for the video, Kelli!
Thanks for the review, so many inspo to buy! I am not sure about a-england though, have a silver holo from them but it looks so dull, only in a very bright good lighting it gives the holo, so i dont want to risk buying some other brand silver linear holo :/
To be honest, most linear holos look like plain silver in indirect/dimmer lighting, thats why I personally prefer scattered holo! But if you do want a guaranteed holographic shine from a linear holo, Cirque Subculture is probably your best bet 😅
Linear is my favorite. I love how it looks like a regular metallic till you get it in the sun. It's like having 2 polishes in one. The lines of rainbow are so pretty to me. I don't have as many as I do scattered through, because I can't afford many indies or boutiques often and it's been awhile since mainstream put out a good linear. I own all but 3 of the LAC Diamond Crush holos. That was a great collection! I didn't care for the teal or pink and chose not to get them. I chanced across a display at Dollar General with 2 more shades that appear to have been exclusive, a yellow and a brighter truer red than Ruby Glass. Sadly 😥 they only had the yellow left and on searching the red it's like it doesn't exist. I was never much of a coffee person and now I have to stay away from caffeine because of migraines, including barely eating chocolate, so I'm a herbal tea girl. Got any good recommendations? I get bord with the same old flavors.
Great swatch Kelli, so many and all so beautiful ❤ I can't access a lot of brands being in the UK, well not without paying huge postage. So Cirque, ILNP & A England are the main holo's I have, i think scattered is my preference but linear is sometimes just as nice, I just love nail polish 😂 Hope you're recovering well and taking care of yourself, thanks again ❤xxx
My most worn holos are the other style of Zoya holo jellies you didn't feature (Merida, storm, Payton, Aurora, Dream etc) and the color club linear holos. By the way, I would love if you did a kind of equipment walkthrough for your lighting setup. You get such good shots of these holos!
I somehow missed this video. I discovered Potion Polish and A England from you. I think my newest love is A England's Jophiel. Bluebird Lacquer has the most amazing shattered holos. I bought Rock of Sages (green) in PPU rewind last year and Winter is So Chill this year (purple to blue). I made a list of all the shattered holos so I could catch more in destashes.
Thank you for turning me onto L.A. Colors! I have Fairy Wink from the Diamond Crush Collection. It's a beautiful color, super sparkly, lovely formula, AND it was dirt cheap. I used it for one of my favorite nail art manis inspired by the terrible kid's video, "Barbie and the Three Musketeers." 😂
My coffee preference are so random. I love Turkish coffee at night, because I'm Turkish and that's when you drink it. I drink hot and cold coffee all year, randomly switching for no reason. And, I change what flavors I'm into just as often.
My favorite holo polish is Nicole by OPI “Holidays Glaze”. I believe it was part of their 2003 holiday collection. It’s a light pink with green flash and the most intense linear holo pigment I’ve ever seen. Even in the lowest of low light, the rainbows still shine through. I have yet to find a modern holo that performs like this one!
@@KelliMarissa They really did! I've seen them called "OPI's fun little sister" and I'd have to agree. The only problem is the weird bottle shape - on top of not being the most aesthetically pleasing, you can't store very many of them in a Helmer drawer.
I love the silvers of course and the bright colors. I think the LA colors diamond crush holo line is the first line you inspired me to buy and I bought every color, they’re gorgeous. They actually came out with a second line of diamond crush and they were not holographic they were just silvery glitters but they are pretty too, just not as nice. I don’t drink coffee at all or any hot drinks, to me hot drinks are unnatural lol and I live in a cold climate
Ooh I never found the second round of diamond crush polishes, I think I would have been disappointed to find out they aren't holo haha! But maybe I should check them out now that I know what to expect!
We love the holo!! 💿 I still enjoy I Scream Nails' "Hololujah", Picture Polish's "Holosphere", and credit where credit is due, ILNP's "Aria" is a rare instance of a one-coater for that brand and it shows up very holo.
I’ve been a holosexual since the 90s when it was so hard to find! I’m sure people think I’m too old to wear holo but I get a ton of compliments on my nails so I don’t mind the haters! I never really found indie brands until about 10 years ago so there were slim pickings for many years in the salon and drugstore brands. I’m in love with Holo Taco and Starrily holos but Salon Perfect and LA Colors are perfection holos at a fraction of the cost!! I really got into indie polishes a few years back when I came across this young girl name Kelli that always showed new polishes and ways to make nail polish into nail art! I didn’t find Cristine until later so I have to thank you Kelli for making me into a holosexual!! I rarely wear any cremes any more. I may try them but immediately have to try holo on top to jazz them up! 😂❤😅 💅
I can certainly shine is a good one. I HATE linear holo. I don't like the look of elementary school blue red green and yellow on my nails at once. Also I can like a very scattered subtle holo. That's about it
My favorite way to wear linear holos is with a scattered holo topper over them. I love the contrasting holo pigment size and the extra pizazz the topper offers. Even better if a formula already has both incorporated into it!!
Ooh believe it or not I've actually never tried combining the finishes myself haha! Time to experiment with toppers 👀😋
I do the same thing!!! That way I get both because who can choose?
Especially if the scattered topper is a fine-to-medium holo flake. OOH!
Amen, sister!!!❤

I live for the annual "favorites" videos 😂
As far as holo polishes go, I've always been drawn to the deep blue linear holos...but WOW that Keep Off The Grass was STUNNING
Ooh what's your fave blue holo?? Clearly I need more haha!!!
I do love that gorgeous linear rainbow in the sunlight haha it's irresistible!!
I really only buy Holo Taco but I’ve spotted about 8 polishes from other brands that are to die for.
Ooh, if you like Holo Taco I bet you'd really enjoy Starrily! They have a similar feel to their formula and super holographic colors!
Yes! I only really buy HT as well and was flabbergasted to see that Rainbow Snow didnt make the list 😳 It's the most slivery Holo in my opinion lol
If I don't buy HT then it's L.A Colors because Its hella lot cheaper yet still good and I save money somewhere lol
I just got HT 50 shades of greige, it’s one of my first holo polishes and I’m obsessed
Ooh yes!!! 💅💅
I have that on my nails right now and omg, when the sunlight hits them 😍
My go-to for holo polishes has always been Color Club.
I have every collab polish I can get my hands on and if they’re not holo, I can fix that! lol jk 😂. 😅❤💅
Yup. Iced coffee all the way!
Yessss a fellow iced coffee lover finally haha!!
Thanks so much for this swatch and review! Holos are my favorite finish. Hope you are recovering well. Take care and many blessings.
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
We definitely need to fatten up your green holo faves!!! My absolute forever fave is Lost in the woods, a deep dark green. Then they have Green taffy for a true green and Full charge for a lime green holo. They also had a gorgeous magenta purple glotter Plumb luck but that one is unfortunately retired 😢
As far as my all time fave summer holo, it is this gorgeous blue holo from ILNP called Serenity. I must wear it at least once every summer!
Ooh yes Holo Taco has some great green holos, I'm not sure why I don't reach for them more because you know I love green haha!!
Thank you, Kelli. I was so surprised about the LA Colors. Do you mind doing a video with your favorite LA Colors polishes?
Honestly I don't own too many LA Colors but my favorites are the first diamond crush collection!! I have a video on em!!
These are all so awesome! Really like that A England Dracula - but they are all out of this world!
hi jay bird! you will not be sorry if you get yourself a bottle of a england dracula 😻i rarely wear pinks and yet that polish has become a favorite 🖤
Omg Norepinephrine is one of my all times faves! That color is just so deep and the holo is so beautiful 😍
Agreed, its a stunner!!
I love that to but way to expensive to ship to Australia
I really like mooncat’s holos Not Today Satan, Warp Zone, and Game Over
And Bloodmoon, Fake Halo and Moonflower
I'm also a year round iced coffee drinker but I do enjoy Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte around Christmas. It's the best
I am loving all of these! I do prefer a scattered holo. And you are doing a fantastic job as always! I love watching and learning 💜💜
Thank you so much!🥰🥰🥰
These polishes gives you both sparkle and the rainbow love. Sending you hugs.
🥰🥰🥰
did my nails right before i fired this up and don't you know it's starrily crypt! yaaaas! with an accent nail ofc - this time your glorious *fractal* 🖤i meeeeean 🖤this holo selection is tremendous. especially delighted to see A england's goth - just found it recently after a long search. also shoutout for mina, dracula and if you EVER find it: *pallas* - right up there with crypt - a stunning grey linear holo. just so good. all of it. holos changed my world. made it better 😻thank you K 🙌🙏
Am I the only one who wishes Starrily did a subscription box? It would be awesome!
Omg I would love that! Although tbh I'd just love to see them do a new collection for each season haha, I'm glad to see they're starting to release more now!!
@@KelliMarissa I will buy anything they offer me lol.
Kelli, it always makes my matchy matchy heart happy that you dress the part in your videos. Ha ha
I own some of these holos, but I need more!
Lol
Thank you. This is such a help for those of us who love the sparkles!
You are so welcome! 🥰🥰🥰📀💿
I don't know why but I'm so glad to see that cool shirt make its comeback!! 😆🥹 As usual I adore your favorites videos. Thanks for a great watch!
Just got the OPI I Cancer-taintly Shine. Can’t wait to use it!
It's sooo pretty!!!
Ooooh, these are beautiful! Rhysand is so pretty, and that Apple Sangria! Thanks for doing this one-it really helped me understand the difference between linear and scattered! Now I know what I'm talking about, lol!
Oh yay I'm so happy you enjoyed and found it a bit helpful too 😄
I bought the whole LA Colors Diamond Crush line back when it came out, thanks to your review.
I wish I could find these. I tried Walmart and tho they had a lot of the brand they did not have the diamond crush line. ):
@@lideabarker8161I think you can only get that at Dollar General but not sure.
@lideabarker8161 I bought the collection from hb beauty bar online! there's always a discount code which brings the price to $2+ instead of $3, super great deal.
I got a few holos before I realized that I'm not really a holo person. 😅
That being said I have Cirque's Garnet which I'm about to wear & it's holo.
How is your recovery going?
Ooh yes Cirque makes gorgeous holo jellies!! Recovery is going well! I'm starting to get restless but I still can't go for walks or exercise haha 😂😂
@@skittlesgoddess Thanks so much!
Anything by Aengland is devine 😊
Agreed!!
I guess.ILNP has been my favorite company for awhile
now.
Always try to remember to give you a thumbs up. You do a great job showing my obsession.
I’d never seen Cookie Cutter but wow it is so stunning!
It's so beautiful and delicate!!!
😍😍😍 omg I love them all! Holos are my favorite finish of all time.
It's truly so fun to wear haha!!
Ooh glitter ombre
I actually had all those LA Colors from $ General. I regret I got rid of them. They were so hard to get off.
I placed my first order with Painted Polish after watching your video. Had to have that purple. It was gorgeous. Found a few more too. Stargazer is still on my wish list. Thanks Kelli for all your video's. Hope you're doing OK and having a good New Year❤
Ooh yeah glitter can be such a pain to remove haha I totally understand!! Don't regret it - honestly if it's frustrating to take off, you probably would never reach for them anyway and they'd just take up space!! Things are going well, thank you so much ❤️❤️
Will you do your favorite shimmers next? I’ve been loving shimmers lately.
I’m watching this with a pen and paper to make myself a wishlist ☺️
Oooh get ready, cause there's a lot of gorgeous ones lol!!!
Just take a screenshot at the end, can look over all the different polishes as and when 👍
same 😂✍
Ow such a great video!
LA Colors is such an underrated and under appreciated brand. They have very few polishes I don't like and the quality is so good for the price.
Agreed!!! I wish I could find them easier in stores because they're amazing haha!!
Zoya Lennon, Jean and Bisoux, and Potion Polish Forest Trail. Beautiful picks Kelli.
Definitely a buttery formula haha! I love it!
@@KelliMarissa 💕😂🧈
My favorite linear holos are from night owl lacquer, but my ultimate favorite ever is ilnp the lighthouse. Its sooooooo sparkly
Shared 💖 Love these!!
Thank you!!
Beautiful video! I love the LA colors
Thank you! ❤️❤️
I'm newer to polish, but think I prefer the scattered holo . You gave me a few to add to wish lists. I've seen the still pics say on ilnp website, but the look different, not as beautiful , as seeing in video. I really enjoy your content. Thank you. I hope your recovery is going smoothly
Very surprising only one green but it's a beauty! I think this time of year holo polishes just resonate with me because it reminds me of snow sparkle.
Ooh yes definitely!! I'm usually a summer holo kind of gal but I do love a snowy holo look too hehe!
Very beautiful polishes. I did get all the LA colors when you did the video. ❤
They're truly incredible!!
I love both linear and scattered holos if i want an intense sparkle I'll go for a linear holo but if i want a more subtle or soft look I'll go for a scattered holo i tend to like both there both different but both really beautiful
Beautiful Kelli ! Hope you are feeling better. Nice video, love it a lot!!!!!!
Ooh yes Full Charge is a gorgeous one!! I haven't pulled it out in forever!
Ohhhh is that why people didn't like it? That makes sense haha! I honestly haven't used Dead Petals because I prefer Crimson Void!
Haha
As for coffee, I like iced in the summer only. I actually just made myself a cup of French vanilla but I love caramel and hazelnut also.
Thanks for the video. I always enjoy seeing your faves!
Ryan is my opposite haha he almost always drinks it hot, even in the summer!!!
I started reading A Court of Thorns and Roses because of your review of Rhysand during your favorite Black holos video. Great books! And I would buy this polish for the name 😂
Haha! That's what I like to hear!! We need more book inspired nail polishes!!
@@KelliMarissaA-England has many of her polishes with names inspired by classical books.😊
I love a good purple polish too.
I live for linear holos!
My all time favorite holo is holo taco Rainbow snow! The different size glitters just smack you in the face! It's so bright and sparkly. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
Ooh that is a pretty one!!
Oh wow, some gorgeous polishes that I'm definitely adding to my list!
Yay!! 😋😋
Where is that nail polish rack from? I loved, loved this video!! I love sparkly colors!!!!
I got it off Amazon! Here's the link to the one I have - amzn.to/3tOVooz
I was almost done with my mani of Painted Polish That’s The Spirit when it popped up on this list! A color recommendation from you, of course!
Haha great timing!!
Omg i didn’t know they made a ACOTAR nail polish colab with Rhysand! I love that so much
Right?! I need a whole Acotar collection haha
I really loved those neutrals! I think I like the scattered holo most. Hot coffee in cold weather for me! 😊
Maybe I am the outlier with my iced coffee haha!
Thank you Suzanne!! ❤️ I'm doing pretty well!! You picked some great colors to order!
Great choices! I only have 3 of them (Starrily Norepinephrine, ILNP Mega X and Skyline) but they're some of my favourites, too. I had a fun time spotting all of the familiar shades from your swatches and favourites videos over the years :P
I'm the opposite way with coffee from you, haha.
Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one who needs a creamy coffee in the winter! I figured it's because I'm all about comfort food when it's cold out 😂😂
Wow I'm so pleasantly surprised by the LA Colors polishes, I'll definitely grab one if I see them! Also love your shirt!
Ahh thank you so much!!
Thank you for the reviews. There are a few I now would like to purchase.
Yay I'm glad you enjoyed!!!
I love how the silvers look on you but for some reason I hate silver on my own nails hahhaa
Ooh are you more of a warm undertone or cool undertone?? I am on the warmer side! I bet a more champagne color would suit you!
Yeah I’m kind of a neutral undertone. But yes I love HT Play Rose! :)
Mainly commenting because we share coffee preferences - I only drink iced coffee as well 😆 Thanks for another great video!
Yesss a fellow iced coffee lover haha!!
I really wanted to get Espresso Your Holo but when I ordered it was sold out😭
Aw man!!! I think it's back now!!
It is back! I’ll definitely add it to my next order :))
Great swatch Kelli, so many and all so beautiful ❤ I can't access a lot of brands being in the UK, well not without paying huge postage. So Cirque, ILNP & A England are the main holo's I have, i think scattered is my preference but linear is sometimes just as nice, I just love nail polish 😂
Hope you're recovering well and taking care of yourself, thanks again ❤xxx
Thank you so much, recovery is going well! 🥰🥰
Oh gosh thank you so much!! I do love those style polishes from Zoya as well! I feel like I havent reached for them in a while though😅😅
There really have been so many amazing holos in the past year!!
I need Euphoria and Fallen Leaves for next October 😻
Yesss perfect Halloweeny colors!!!
Drooling like Homer Simpson staring at donuts
LOL! I know that feeling 🤤
My coffee preference are so random. I love Turkish coffee at night, because I'm Turkish and that's when you drink it.
I drink hot and cold coffee all year, randomly switching for no reason.
And, I change what flavors I'm into just as often.
I do love trying new flavors but imo nothing beats the combo of caramel and coconut haha!!
wish I could drink coffee at night, it makes me too twitchy though 🤣Turkish coffee is awesome 👍

Ooh yes it's so pretty!!
My favorite holos are from Holo Taco and Mooncat!
I love your shirt, where did you get it from?
Thank you! It's actually a dress from forever 21 but it's several years old so I'm not sure it's available anymore 😅😅
@@KelliMarissa I will look for it and hopefully they still have it, thank you 😊
My favorite holo polish is Nicole by OPI “Holidays Glaze”. I believe it was part of their 2003 holiday collection. It’s a light pink with green flash and the most intense linear holo pigment I’ve ever seen. Even in the lowest of low light, the rainbows still shine through. I have yet to find a modern holo that performs like this one!
Ooh you know, I'm sad I never got a chance to try Nicole by OPI polishes because it seems like they had some incredible colors haha!!
We are such opposites😂 hot coffee anytime of year and I love both mint and mocha.
You and Ryan both haha! You guys can keep your hot coffee and your mocha, I'll enjoy my iced caramel lattes LOL!
Iced coffee all the way!
We love the holo!! 💿 I still enjoy I Scream Nails' "Hololujah", Picture Polish's "Holosphere", and credit where credit is due, ILNP's "Aria" is a rare instance of a one-coater for that brand and it shows up very holo.
Ooh yes all gorgeous polishes!!! 💅💅
Norepinephrine is a favorite of mine. It's bonus too as I am a ❤ nurse.
Ooh I love that! Starrily had a really cool collection a while back with different hormone inspired polishes haha, I bet you'd love it!
My fave green lineair holo is Birch Please from Cuticula. I think you'd love it ;)
I can certainly shine is a good one. I HATE linear holo. I don't like the look of elementary school blue red green and yellow on my nails at once. Also I can like a very scattered subtle holo. That's about it
