Kevin, you had us all spoiled with more videos from the Caribbean, missed you. This looks like an amazing cruise to different ports…definitely excited to continue this journey with you.
Yay you’re back!!! I just went looking the other day thinking I had missed your newest videos. Glad you had a great time! We are currently on our 2nd 14 day Nieuw Statendam cruise and doing a Celebrity transatlantic right after this. Love an ocean crossing!!
Great to have another video with beautiful places. I remember the “live” from Halifax. Look forward to seeing Norway! Hope you are well. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome back! I was getting worried about you for a second. Looks like a great trip. You can see the beauty, and the chilly weather without dealing with nasty winter. Safe travels sir!
Great video Master Chief! I am one of those who hates the Princess shower curtains! Transatlantics are my favorite cruises, very relaxing. Looking forward to the next installment! Take care, from a TM3SS
Lol, the hump is called the Wave. Kids love Climbing it. This summer our weather in Nova Scotia has not been our usual. Normally our summers can be hot. Too bad you didn’t try a beaver tail. They are delicious.
Great to see you back Kevin. I was actually googling what happened to you at one point so it’s wonderful to see all is well! I always look forward to your videos because you’re living my retirement dream, don’t stop cruising 😊
Woohoo you tried Poutine!! My mum is from Quebec and I'm glad you got to try it...not so healthy but worth a treat once in a while. Iceland is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing Kev!
Hi Kevin Currently on a 79 day cruise Vancouver to Sydney via Alaska and Asia. Finishing the Japan sector tomorrow before heading south. Norway is great, enjoy the trip. We had 10 sea days between Dutch Harbour and Tokyo due to bad weather in Sapporo
No way! I was ON that entire 33 day cruise! But I didn't come across this TH-cam channel until recently so I wouldn't have recognized you if I saw you. The weather was incredible for us- hardly any rain the entire voyage. It was my first Princess cruise. The shower is the smallest in the fleet. Sapphire Princess's had just slightly larger size. I love Princess, but never again the Island Princess. I'm into getting my cardio in, just like you, but I am a fitness center user. On the Island Princess it is a walled-in sweatbox way below on Deck 6.
Haven’t seen you in quite a while! Glad you’re doing well. Love the hat! Have a great time, enjoy, see the best of this Wonderful World! Be safe, be well, be happy!
Just returned from a trans Atlantic cruise from south Hampton to Ft. Lauderdale on The Regal Princess. This route is on our bucket list. Thank you for sharing.
Definitely have been wondering what you've been up to... I know this Fire and Ice TA was back in May/June, so guess the delay is because you've been very busy enjoying life -- maybe exploring more of Europe? This is a cruise that's still on our list to take. We've done 8 TA's (to Med and Baltic), but not this one. Also have sailed entire Norwegian coast - but in middle of winter. Time to experience Midnight Sun instead of Polar Night.
Man…so many positive things about your video. Start with the hotel recommendations. I will definitely stay at the Embassy Suites when I’m down in Ft Lauderdale for my cruise. I ridden in a Tesla Uber before and it is a dream car. So quiet and smooth. It’s like you’re floating on a cloud. I haven’t done Princess cruises before, but I’m I looking forward to a 23 day cruise Ft Lauderdale to Vancouver sea to sea cruise in 2025, as my first Princess cruise.
Wow thought you were gone, welcome back! We’re taking a transatlantic cruise on Sky Princess next March, not the same itinerary, except Southampton, but good to know you enjoyed it!
Surprised to see you back Kevin-we missed you! I think I like the colder cruises and you have me sold on trying out Princess! Hope all is well with you!
I was excited to see another cruise video, you have definitely been missed! Iceland looks amazing…it’s one of my bucket list destinations! Although I can’t believe you know how warm that outside pool was! Brrr! Lol
I just couldn’t do a 33 day cruise in a room with no couch or other place to relax besides the bed and a chair. You are lucky you weren’t stuck in fog for 4 days like I was on my recent Transatlantic!
Parks Canada has over 200 red Adirondack chairs in peaceful and scenic locations throughout many of the country’s most unique and treasured places, including the set found here at the Halifax Citadel.
When I bought my first touring motorcycle, my first trip was to Nova Scotia. I liked Sidney better than Halifax, but Halifax is a great town too. I took the overnight ferry from Maine instead of a cruise ship to get there - but rode all the way back through New Brunswick. Heh, and you are going backwards to Old Scotland in few more stops too!
Good to see your newest video Kevin! I was actually kind of worried about you since I hadn't seen anything since your live video leaving Stockholm. Good to see your smiling face again on TH-cam. It was great meeting you on the Island Princess and running into you in Norway. Connie & I are flying to LA on the 28th for a 32 day Hawaii & South Pacific cruise. Are you going to Venice with your mom soon? Be well. Steve & Connie
I was just thinking how long it's been since we last heard from you -- I figured you must be having an amazing and relaxing time before giving us a recap. Glad to see I was right! Thanks for the views and all the info -- Iceland looked gorgeous! Also looks like you may have that warmer pool mostly to yourself? Lol, gotta love that! Cheers!...from North Vancouver
It would only be a half hour walk because of your luggage if that. I live in Plantation the next town over and drive for a limo service that services the cruise industry. I take people to the Hilton Marina all the time. And have stayed in that Embassy Suites a long time ago like maybe 36 years ago. I remember it was freezing that day and me and my buddy went in the outside hot sauna that they had there.
Good to see you “back!” The video was very nicely done with some great content and cool editing. Yes, I have missed your furry face on TH-cam. Hope your mom is doing well!
I had to laugh about your finding the need of a warmer hat upon reaching Halifax. We once took a tour by car during the dog days of August. Heat was bad, even up to Bar Harbor, ME. We took the ferry to Yarmouth, N.S. and as soon as we got there, we had to run out and buy sweaters! 😂
Good to see you back in this video. Hope you're well. This cruise is fantastic. Iceland's on my list of places to explore, especially now that I've seen your vidoe. Love your hat. :)
Good to see you Kevin! That’s cool that they used the lifeboats as ferries! Iceland is at the top of my list. My fall break was full of waterfalls and I’d love to check some out there too! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
So happy to see you back Kevin. I posted a question on your whereabouts only 2 days ago and you respond with a video! Quick question. How do you manage sleep patterns?
Welcome back!! Glad you are up in that area of the world as that is my next year's area to cruise and tour. Are you still traveling with one bag? How full is it getting? Also, that's a great looking rain jacket (blue and red) you have. Mind naming the brand of it? One suggestion, maybe a little more map stuff and a time frame for when the videos are being made. Thanks and glad you're back!!
Great suggestions. I am still traveling carry on only. I bought the jacket on a Princess cruise ship. They have them for sale on all the Princess ships
Love your Canadian toque! Makes you into an honourary Hoser. 🇨🇦. We love Halifax and Iceland but found Isafjordur too busy for our liking. Love the rest of Iceland though. Hope to hit Norway one day
Was just in Halifax Oct 15 (RC Jewel) to my surprise, found a Sears Catalog home (which I owned one and sold in 2021 for $750,000, 2 bdr 1 bath, no house a/c) Did a Copenhagen to Boston (incl Iceland) Nov 2021. .
Missed you ! So glad you were able to take care of your mom. It’s great to see you’re back to cruise life again though too. Weather is still good here in Waikiki and my time is winding down. Enjoy the many different places ie food and people etc. Aloha from Waikiki, Deb
You know they don't call those ferries on a cruise ship...they're referred to as tenders. I loved Iceland. I hope you get a chance to do Greenland too, we really like that and talk about small towns...jeees...
The reason you see Thai restaurants so many places is because that country's government has been actively supporting these restaurants with money, advice, etc., to promote Thai culture around the world since 2002. As for poutine, that's a French word that translates to "high cholesterol" (joke I heard a Canadian stand- up comic make years ago).
hey brother good to see your back and safe (oops changed my channel name back formerly Vetruski Travels) glad your healthy and safe looks like an amazing cruise wife booked us a cruise this will be interesting first time after the pandemic and first time off Carnival honestly seems like the are nickel and diming you for everything that used to be free now

Yay you’re back!!! I just went looking the other day thinking I had missed your newest videos. Glad you had a great time! We are currently on our 2nd 14 day Nieuw Statendam cruise and doing a Celebrity transatlantic right after this. Love an ocean crossing!!
Oh awesome! Ill be on a transatlantic back to the US in mid November.
Iceland towns looked so much nicer than the tourist trap towns in the Caribbean and other similar places
for sure!
Umm no! Cool place but for me the Caribbean is always #1
Great to have another video with beautiful places. I remember the “live” from Halifax. Look forward to seeing Norway! Hope you are well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Donna! :)

yeah, they annoy me a little but still way better than ship or boat showers!!!!
@@30AndAWakeUp You can say that again, veteran of a WWII era submarine!
I will be doing the transatlantic Princess Island from Italy to Florida on Dec 2023… looking forward.
Nice! I almost booked that cruise as well.
