I'd rather Wash a dog than play basketball with Kobe Bryant. Said no one. Absolutely ever.
I watched it at the same time
timhoward5 same lmaooo
timhoward5 5:28 rip Kobe and #2 Gigi
except her

"Kobe puts the money in his pocket." Damn right LMAO RIP Kobe but you knew he was gon take that lol
No gimmies... You play to win and pay up if you lose. Kobe a savage even back then, I fkn love it!
And then used that money to pay for his Dog-Cleaning bill🤣🤘 #PimpMamba
SwagJerryRice I was rolling on that
lol kobe put the money in his pocket
He was so hurt when he said that
Even back then Kobe was asking someone about their life. Says a lot about who he was. He will be missed.
5:17 Twenty two years later, pretty sure she know who he is and was now and is glad she got to share the court w/him instead of wash the dogs.
Watching this made me forget Kobe was gone
Which is exactly why he isn't gone. He's still here And his influence is everywhere you look.
@Clyde Cromey o there goes gravity
It's funny how someone else's confidence and self-purpose can cause fear and a sense of doubt within. However, when that person dies... THEN we all care.
I urge us to identify and appreciate greatness when we see it. No matter what industry, job, or duty that person has.
*You've provided us sparks of inspiration. Thank you Black Mamba.*
I understand the point of your statement. I just don’t think it necessarily applies with Kobe Bryant. May he his daughter and the other 7 people who were on that helicopter (friends& teammates. People definitely gave Kobe his credit while alive. Were people in trans by the constant debate of MJ AND lebron yes. But NOBODY would’ve ever not given Kobe his credit when it came to basketball. Is the love amplified now that he has passed yes unfortunately. But nobody alive on earth gets that immense love because #1 it’s hard to sustain that everyday for your entire life, and two when people are alive we may respect them idolize them be inspired but we still treat them as human. I get annoyed by comments like this “you didn’t love him while he was here, you didn’t support him, you weren’t a fan” it is undermining the grieving process. Instead of putting energy towards that let’s put positive energy and love out for his family and the family of the others. Is it true some people aren’t respected or understood until they die, yes. Was that the case with Kobe from my perspective no. But everyone is loved 10x more once they pass you can’t avoid that. RIP Kobe, so wise and talented. And if we look through the plethora of interviews he left us with so much to look up to and so much to knowledge. Let’s all spread the love and look further forward
Some of us always cared. Kobe was my hero!
@@quick2bud why was he your hero?
ANTWAN FISHER actually probably a billion people cared tf u talking about his haters cares they still loved him it’s love hate they even admit that they will miss him come on now
That doesn't exaxtly apply to this situation..... but uh... nice message anyway guy
"But naw Kobe put the money in his pocket" 😂😂😂 LMAO R.I.P. KOBE
RIP KOBE! You’re gone way too soon man😔
I would be salty if I had to wash dogs over playing ball with Kobe and Reggie
I would b $200 richer
Hasan Muhammad that experience of playing with Kobe > $200 ....
Hasan Muhammad rather play with Reggie and Kobe. 200 ain’t shit
kb well if you don’t watch basketball you’d take the $200. If you couldn’t name Reggie Miller and Kobe in the late 90s, safe to say you’re not too big on sports
Facts. They could keep the 200
I love how in the older seasons they made sure to bring back Alumni to help out with the challenges. It was always so exciting to see!
This is how Kobe saw all Reggies moves before they played in the finals lol
the one where Reggie averaged 24 and Kobe 15
Billy Johnson Kobe averaged 15 because he got injured and left game 2 with 3 points with a ankle injury use context
@@gloryq9232 he had two good games and two shitty ones Shaq was unstoppable
LBJ tried that with KD, but it didn't work KD Avg 30 all 3x they meet in the finals.
Yess facts!!!
“I’m from Philadelphia...we track people down” lmao OG Kobe. Rest in power
This is literally 7 minutes and 36 seconds of correct white people stereotypes lmaooo 😂😂😂😂
White guy who knows too much about sports: ✔️
White guy who knows nothing about sports: ✔️
Black dude who thinks he can hoop then has to play against real hoopers:✔️
Black girl who gets overhyped about meeting sports stars:✔️
They really hit all the stereotypes xD
SquadAF can’t even argue with that lol
@@FecalMatador Don't forget the White girl straight hating like she got dogged by a basketball player in H.S. too lol
Don't forget the asian follower
What is a black person stereotype?
RIP KOBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kobe really didn’t give AF about getting injured here 🤣🤣🤣
THIS IS SO 90S I LOVE IT. PLEASE KEEP EMPTYING YOUR VAULTSSSSS.
this is a video to enjoy Kobe to, no need to bring the mood down with the RIPs, we celebrating rn
Lemance Moss Jr foreal bro well said

Great post bro facts man 🔥
Lemance Moss Jr thank you man!
His afro was so cool.
Frobe was the best Kobe
You youngbucks and lebum fanboys dont know ANYTHING about Frobe, the best basketball player ever
This footage wouldn't be so rare if you guys would just put all the episodes on the app. What an extraordinary clip..#RipMamba
2:07 I'm sure they found out how special meeting Kobe and Reggie was. RIP Kobe.
Where are all the DVD/BluRay sets of RR, RW, and all the Challenges? I would pay good money for them all!
I know some of the challenge seasons are on amazon video but I haven't seen any DVDs for them
@@awesomeBrett1987 I would certainly take digital copies, if MTV would put them out! Streaming is okay, but I want something I can download/rip to keep offline.
I have them digitally but when the WiFi’s out, can’t watch them lol I’d love physical copies too. I just downloaded Pluto tv and there’s a channel dedicated to the challenge
@@JasonWwe I'll have to look into it! Thanks for the tip, mysterious disembodied voice.
StayAtTheRetreat Go to 123Movies.com type in “The Challenge” and they will legit have all of them in order from the beginning! I’m watching that Rivals 1 right now 😂
RIP Kobe always loved ❤️🙌🏼
RIP my man Kobe Bryant my favorite basketball player ever we love you and we miss you mamba out 👼👼👼 1978 - 2020
5:11 that crossover is crazy good.
“Ima tell y’all like this... I’m from Philadelphia, we track people down” -Kobe Bryant He looked right in the camera w/o blinking 😭 he was dead serious about that shit.
What a story they have to tell for the rest of they're lives. RIP Kobe.
5:17 I'm curious how she feels in 2020.
I like how someone mentioned that they didn’t know who either of them were. I understand not knowing who Kobe was because he was only in his second season but how would someone not have heard of Reggie Miller?
Reggie Miller isn’t that popular to non basketball fans. Indiana is a small market.
RIGHT!
Gabriel Angelo Sanchez small market but was playin the biggest franchise ( chicago ) if you knew jordan. You knew who hit the game winner on him. In the play offs. Simple.
"I'm thinking like, "They going to give us the money back"
...but naw, "Kobe put the money in his pocket!"
LMAO!
I have been looking for this for forever. And the MTV diary of Kobe Bryant. Thanks for uploading this.
Long Live THE LEGEND:

That's a fact. Kob' was my favorite player my G... I'm an Jordan, Kobe, & LeBron type of guy fam'.
@@TWIZZTHEWHIZKID well as a Chicagoan you know who I'm rockin wit. Kobe was always great tho; it sucks that crap like this can happen to such a legend man; it's unfair......
@@TheUltimateRage Yeah, that shit ain't even right man. To go out like that, & to be accompanied by his daughter... I'm still in disbelief. Shit doesn't even seem real to me, at all. Been a Lakers fan since forever, & Bean is my all time favorite athlete in any sport ever... they'll never be another player like Kobe my G.
I miss the 90s I miss kobe
This is kobe talkingabout..study miller game😂😂😂
Did Kobe and Reggie have a fight tho🤣🤣🤣
I totally remember watching this. I miss RW vs RR.
I am 31 grew up on this
@@lilrockswag I'm 37 and we would make our little brother watch out programs and vice versa. He had references that his friends didn't know but I know a bunch of magic School bus, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.
I love how people in the comment section are enjoying this without sad crying faces
5:15 The real reason Kobe changed his number from 8 to 24...
LMAO... this comment deserve a thousand more likes..I got tears in my eyes LMAO
Thanks. It's what Kobe said right after Reggie Miller @ the 6:00 mark that made me realize this...
Progressive Viewer I see what you did!!!!! 😂😂😂
kobe said in the interview with Shaq that before the show's crowd arrived, he played 1-1 against Reggie and that was important to know how to play against Miller in the 2000 finals.
Rest In Peace Kobe Bean Bryant.
Was looking for this footage for years 👏🏾
Kobe really punched on the whole squad lmaooo rip mamba
@5:22.... Can’t Touch This!
RIP Kobe
People love to compare kobe and mj but kobe was kobe there will never be another kobe Bryant to me the greatest ever love you rip
Hi edagdwg thanks for sharing this letting people see Kobe and Reggie are good people sharing time with others Linda j peace ❤️💯🌈

Man this is some rare footage
5:25 btw the girl was wearing number 24.. rip mamba
I went to that gym while living on wilcox and sunset, Hollywood YMCA 3 minutes walking distance, Never knew kobe and regie had step there, it brings good memories. #realworldwastheshow back thn
That kid at 4:30-4:40 had the time of his Life next to mamba
Why was that lady wearing a suit in her interview 😂😂😂😂 the current cast members would never
Beth? She literally used to come on the shows just to start drama. Don't think she even realized she was on a competition show half the time
Lmao that dude was so mad he had to clean dogs instead of playing with Kobe and Reggie
The guy says “ I don’t know who Kobe Bryant or Reggie Miller is . 😂 just upset he had to watch dogs
😂😂
It was a different dude that said that lol
Chris Gainey a girl said that and a dude did.. kobe and Reggie are the only 2 relevant people decades later.
Right lol
@@hhh3920 I know I thought she was saying the same dude who wanted to play wth them didn't know who they were lol I remember watching this shit when it aired on MTV 20 years ago lol
I remember Beth from the Real World Los Angeles. The guy that Kobe was talking with, with the dark hair at the end was in the original Real World cast from Seattle, referee was Real World Boston. Guy with accent, Real World London. Just some fun facts. RIP Kobe.
5:00 🔥
Kobe my idolo inspired me to play basketball te amo kobe descansa en paz rip to my idol😢😢
KOBE!!!
1:14 two of the best basketball players EVER 😁 without question, Reggie was a lil rusty but Kobe on point and on🔥🤙
Kobe, Reggie, Mark, Beth, Cyrus... so mannnnnny legends in this video!
4:55 "Soft like Charmin."
@MTV @ViacomCBS Why do you buys hold this content hostage? Please release these older seasons or make them available to stream! You literally have a ton of people who would pay for this stuff.
reality jay it’s because they aren’t filmed in HD it’s a different format video wise still doesn’t make sense why they can’t release them though
There was a time RR was far better then RW and almost every show on MTV.
Never watched anything on Mtv. But was Celebrity Deathmatch on Mtv or Vh1?
Mtv
Jesse Dell Ross ikr
@@brishawn8571
Yes celebrity death aired on MTV
RIP 🙏 💔 Mamba
4:47 Of course Kobe would layup against 5 people at once...straight buttah
Damn Kobe and Reggie. My all time tow favorites
This all makes sense now after hearing Reggie say they had the same representation.
Nice clip - Reg was my favourite player
Idk why you cant give us these damn seasons somewhere i will literally pay for them
i never thought to look for this video.. but Reggie Miller has said multiple times on The Dan Patrick Show that he taught Kobe his step back move while playing the MTV Real World cast.. it's even more hilarious to see it with my own eyes.
"Like taking candy from a baby.."
*misses shot*
After they made two baskets on Kobe and Reggie Kobe put his head down at that moment ( 4:04 ) mamba mode was activated lol 🐍
Happy Kobe Bryant Day 👨🏿🏀🟣🟡⚫🐍
#8 #24- L.A. Lakers from MTV's Road Rules
I would pay more than $50 to play with them. Especially Kobe I have always loved him and even if he’s gone he made an impact on my life and I will always be thankful for that.
5:00 why Kobe did him so dirty 🤣🤣🤣. #ForKobe 🙏🏾🙏🏾
#RIPKINGKOBE #RIPLILMOMBA
6:47 is diabolical bruh
Zesty😅
5:11 i almost broke my own ankle just watching this combo
Bring back these reruns and air them on mtv! Rip Kobe
People are digging up every piece of kobe footage they can find
Legend Never Die !!
u know how long ive been looking for this
I know I’m putting out there what the world already knows. But Kobe was not human, this was a fun for reality game, he started losing and turned it up on them. The way he took off at 5:15 🫡
“I’m from Philadelphia. We track you down.” Lol
4:47-4:51 Kobe shows the difference between professionals and amateurs...LOL 🐐
Kobe &Reggie would be a great back court.
think about all the wide open shots miller would get cause kobe causing the double team
the supermanisalive Facts it would be sick.
couple things, I thought kobe didn't have friends at that time. Second, you know for sure kobe was in playoff mode for this event lmao
False narrative... People assumed because Kobe was reserved...
@@cmoneyno5 actually kobe in the shaq interview revealed why he went to this very event with reggie. He knew he would most likely face the pacers so he used this opportunity to play reggie 1 on 1 to learn what hes good or weak at. That's crazy that he pulled a tactical move like that
@@yeon723 that was true... but Kobe still had friends...
@@cmoneyno5 I'm sure you know what I meant. He was always portrayed as a guy who wouldn't buddy up with other stars. Dont worry it wasn't an attack on Kobe, I'm a big fan of his
KOBE DUNKIN AND NOT LETTING UP ON THESE ROOKIES SPEAKS VOLUMES ON WHO HE IS . RIP BRO , I CANT BELIEVE YOURE GONE !
5:00 - 5:18 kob and reg had to turn it up on dem fools rii quick !!!
I miss 90s MTV
Man I wish I couldve been there. I wouldve been blown away
Kobe and Reggie had a one on one after this just so you'll know
5:11 to 5:15 is elite footwork and ball handling
Of course Kobe goes to, and hits his patented baseline fadeaway move on the first shot, this guy
🥺😓😭 R.I.P. Kobe Bryant! Black Mamba forever!
Give us ALLLLL the rare footage😭too cool. RIP kobe man
Frobe was too cute lmaoo
So much about this is unintentionally funny.
"I'd rather wash a dog"
"I'm from Philadelphia...we track people down(serious face)"
:Here's $10 extra, get yourself something nice"
"He just put the money in his pocket "
They would have payed 100 dollars just to play basketball with Kobe and Reggie. They are just so happy Kobe and Reggie and these two willing to spend that day with them. That moment is just priceless.
