Because the octagon did not have equal sides and was irregularly shaped, most of the fandom got stuck here and some even thought they already selected everywhere on the photo before looking it up >every game having the same plot twist: spoilers but all of them end with “Junko did it also the whole thing is fake”, it’s just that that twist becomes more and more exaggerated as the games go on (from “i wiped your memories of the past two years” to “this is a simulation” to “i made a game for you just to give you a hero role (that one’s an unnumbered one, that being Ultra Despair Girls)” and finally “your entire identities are fake and also every single bit of danganronpa was fake and created by one of the characters in universe”) >one of the closing lines about “wishing for Hope” references the main theme of Danganronpa, that being Hope vs Despair (Monokuma being part of the Ultimate Despair) Granted, none of that saves Blue from the fact that Monokuma’s disses and references were just as good, if not better, ON TOP of some of the greatest lyricism and wordplay i’ve seen from a youtube rap battle in a very, VERY long time!
